But already I have found it to be a great source in studying the Holy Spirit
I am not finished with this book yet. But already I have found it to be a great source in studying the Holy Spirit. The only thing I wish was different is the layout of the pages. But I have thoroughly enjoyed the meat of this book.

The best in one place
Treasure, I say, is this book. The best in one place. Know the Holy Spirit, live in the Holy Spirit. The book will help you to think in the dimension of the Holy Spirit.

Every Spirit-Baptised Born Again Believer Should Buy This Book
This is undoubtedly the best Christian book I have read for many, many years. No dry rote repeating of well-worn familiar evangelical phrases. No mindless, airy, fairy OTT charismatic unrealities. Just solid, searching insights about what it R-E-A-L-L-Y means - and takes - to establish a living, breathing, life and character-transforming walk in the Spirit.Like the author's other titles, this book too is thoroughly researched, containing a wealth of 'raw data' quotes from well-known Christians that have been much-used of God down through the centuries. And practically every page is positively bursting with scripture quotations - enabling the reader to check first-hand that what is being asserted in the text is supported by scripture.I would especially recommend this book for believers who although genuine born again believers are something of 'outsiders' to evangelical, charismatic circles - as I am - for the text contains much encouragement with examples of people used of God in unusual ways and in spite of their significant human failings. God it seems is a much broader, less persnickety Fellow than most of the evangelical, charismatic church would have us all believe! The only significant negative for me was that the text did fall into the usual evangelical/charismatic hole of making practically zero distinction between the ways of God upon the earth and in believers lives in Old and New testament times. In that sense, the Grace that is the wellspring of true New Testament Christian life, was perhaps less prominent than it needed to be.That said, for any and every true Christian believer - who post-salvation has come to know themselves as 'different' to their pre-Christian selves, and who has felt the movings and workings of the Spirit within - they will be hard-pushed to find a more thought-provoking, personally-challenging and downright useful-to-God-in-speaking-to-them text than this relatively short book. They are SURE to feel the Spirit move within as they read - I know I did.

How and why Christians should surrender to the Holy Spirit
This is an excellent short book that cuts through the fog of theology and shows the necessity of all Christians to go on and be filled with the Holy Spirit not just an initial experience. It shows the true cost of authentic discipleship and for me has created a real hunger to know God more and surrender to the Holy Spirit.A highly effective and challenging book for those who are serious about discipleship !
