Simple but effective
Its big, its round, its a rock. It works. I am using this in my acorn smoker to stabilize the heat and keep indirect heat. I also use in my rv oven to prevent burning the bottom of the pan and better disipate the heat. It is similar in thickness to others that I have used.

Perfect size for halogen ovens
Fits well in our halogen convection oven. Big enough to cover most of the bottom rack while leaving just enough room to be easily lifted out. Probably could squeeze a 10 inch in there, but it would be hard to remove. Stone works well for making pizza and other items. Also great for reheating leftover pizza. To clean it you just rinse it off.

I wanted to love it but I don’t
Update- I decided to keep them after recommendations to use parchment paper and that helps. Crust isn’t as hard as I like, but better than before and no mess. Increased to 4 stars. I was hoping it would be like some I’ve purchased in the past, but they aren’t as good. Everything sticks so bad I can’t get it off the stone. I end up having to take the whole stone out of the oven which defeats the purpose and is too hot to handle. I’ve wasted so much pizza on here. As I try to scrape the dough off the cheese comes off because the dough sticks. I’m sending it back. I’m giving 2 stars because it is packaged very well to keep it from breaking.

9" cooking stone
I bought this stone to use in my camper mostly to deflect direct heat to things that I am bake. Those of you who have campers know how small these ovens are and how close to the food the heat source is to whatever you're baking. This stone is just the right size to place in there. It deflects the heat to around the outside side circulating the for a more even baking process.

Perfect!
Before getting my new RV, I watched tons of YouTube videos on full-time RVing. I' learned so much from these videos and ordered all the things from Amazon that were suggested. One was putting a pizza stone in the oven to radiate heat evenly. This stone was perfect size and has absolutely done the trick!! I'm now cooking like a pro in the RV oven and I couldn't have done it without this pizza stone!

I love this pizza stone
I bought this pizza stone to go into my air fryer. It could've been an inch bigger to fit my machine size. It makes the crust nice and crisp 👌 only takes 12 to 15 minutes in my air fryer. You will have to heat up the stone to 450 degrees to clean the stone. So I use two pot holders and a tablespoon to scratch the mess off once i heat it up in my air fryer for 20 minutes @ 450. Once it gets seasoned you shouldn't have to worry about cleaning as often. Just don't use water, soap or s.o.s pads to clean it. It will mess up the stone! I would buy it again 😃

Works ok but stuff sticks to it
it is hard to get the crusty burnt bits off the stone. so if cheese runs off your crust, it'll leave a brown mark. the directions say not to use soap to clean, just water because the stone is porous. recommend that you put this on a cookie sheet so the cheese doesn't spill into the oven. otherwise, works as advertised. ***Updated 7/1/2013 review with crust recommendation. (about a year after my original review) Ok, last year I had troubles with regular pizza dough sticking even with extra flour dusting and cheese running off. I stopped using the stone for a few months. Recently, I found Vicolo frozen cornmeal crust at our local Whole Foods frozen food section. (2 crusts for ~$5.50) The crust is the same size as the pizza stone and doesn't stick. I followed the instructions of putting the frozen crust + your own toppings onto a preheated stone. It works awesome! 10 mins and I am eating the first pizza while the second pizza is in the oven. And the crust keeps the cheese from dribbling over the side! I can double my cheese toppings. wahoo!
