Kingston Brass DTT102 Made to Match Bathtub Overflow Plate, Polished Brass 3.19 x 3.19 x 2.31

Nice finish, heavy metal piece. The problem came with the install. I noticed that on the last few turns, the screws were starting to curve inward, which was due to their extra length. They were gouging the backside of my overflow drain, and once they started turning inward due to the curvature of the drain, it bent the piece. You may need a Dremel-style tool to cut the screws to length, or risk them being way too long. Otherwise, it's a very nice piece for the money, with a good, deep dark colored, oil rubbed bronze finish.

I have been suffering with my old shower head for so long needlessly. I should have bought this years ago. Easy installation and had the best shower in years. Very glad I purchased this shower head and I will update in a few months to say how it holds up. But so far, very happy.

What? Am I really writing a review on an overflow plate?So I'm a girl with thick, long hair, that has been fighting a battle with her bathtub drain for nearly a year.I've got a one of those tubs with this linkage system that controls the drain stopper (man, I sure have learned a lot about plumbing).Problem is, there's a spring involved in this system, that seems to want to grab every strand of hair that flows past it, forming a disgusting, soapy plug that I need to clean out every two weeks. It made not want to shower any more.But I'm someone that wants to be a contributing member in our society.So what did I do? I took the coil and linkage system out altogether.Drain flows beautifully now, but I was left with an unsightly hole where the lever used to be.Problem was solved after I found this drain cover.It's silver. It's shiny. It doesn't look like some cheap, half-thought-out solution.The screws are concerningly long, but they managed to screw into my drain without any issue.I can shower again.

I've only had this for about a week, but it seems high quality and is much more substantial than a lot of similar products. This didn't have the weight listed, so I based my purchase on the other reviews and I wasn't disappointed. I weighed the product when I received it so that I could offer the information. I like the finish on this product. Definitely brass that has been chromed. Has a good thickness without it being heavy or interfering with fit in any way. Question on review is regarding if it’s a “good value”. Value means different things to different people. For me, yes, it’s a good value. Easy to install. I would suggest making sure that prior to purchase that the homeowner makes sure that the two screws holding the overflow plate will actually break loose otherwise it can become nightmare.

The quality and look are excellent. The only issue for me was the screws are way too long for my overflow drain setup. I had to cut them down. Would have been nice to have a couple screw lengths to choose from. A relatively simple fix though.

This is NOT an oil rubbed bronze finish at all. All my fixtures are ORB, and this is a zero match. It has a flat black finish, and looks like it was spray painted with flat black paint. Many companies are advertising ORB when in fact they are just black finished, and nothing has a rubbed look.

I bought this to go in a tub with Moen fixtures ... and it matches them almost perfectly! Quality is good, easy & quick installation. Worth the price.This looks great in my tub with the Kingston Brass DTT208 tip-toe bath drain in Satin Nickel, too.Would I recommend this to my neighbor? Sure. Would I recommend this to the pickiest mother in the world who will call you daily and remind you that you're the one that recommended this to her? Yup.
