3M 4910/CLR0755 Scotch 4910 VHB Tape: 3/4" x 15 ft., Clear

The bond seems to get stronger with time even though no drying takes place. Great for mounting things in areas with abusive levels of vibration. Wonderful for adhering smooth metal, glass, and or various plastic that repel all other forms of glue. With minor effort it can be %100 removed without damaging most surfaces. If you use too much you can easily cause a total structural failure when trying to peel things back apart when you make a mistake. This stuff is deceptively strong. Its crystal clear and has the texture of a very sticky gummy bear candy you can't pull apart.

The VHB tape holds stronger than the 3M automotive trim tape. When used with the 3M adhesive primer, the VHB adhesive bond is stronger than ever. The tape becomes almost impossible to remove from the primed surfaces.

Seller sent me 1/2" wide tape instead of 3/4" wide tape. I was in a bind and had to use what I got.I was adhering 2 layers of thin (.050") powder coated steel together on a sign. I put 100-lb of weight on the layers for a weekend to make sure it stuck. Overnight where it was dry and temp ranged from 77'F to 50'F, all of the adhesion failed. I woke to find the two pieces of my sign sitting on the ground.

AWESOME! It sticks to everything instantly. Very easy to use. I couldn't find anything to adhere a logo to our soft sided YETI Hopper coolers. This product works!

I bought this primarily to adhere a garage door opener to a blank plastic area next to my moonroof button in the headliner of my 2004 Mini Cooper S. Velcro was my original plan, but it wouldn't bond to the plastic.Same thing here. I used a swipe of alcohol to treat the surface prior to adhering...but it just won't stick.Expensive lesson learned.
