Worked well happy with the lamp, not quite as flexible as I anticipated

Bought one of these. Magnet is strong, you need to attach it properly to iron or steel and make the full magnetic circuit.Goose-neck works well. Beam angle is not suitable for all applications, it's quite narrow. I have one the bead of a mill and it illuminates the cutter really well.Mine flickered. I contacted the seller directly and he sent a second unit which also flickered. He suggested I return it to Amazon for a refund but I've kept them. The flickering can get annoying but I put up with it knowing I got two for the price of one.If it had not flickered I would have given it 5 stars.No idea what Sheerness means (thought it was a town in the isle of Sheppey), so no stars for that.

Light gets hot after a long period of use and can go off for a short while. I suspect its getting hot internally and maybe protecting itself. Light is as expected a strong narrow beam ideal for a bandsaw. Magnet is mostly strong enough. Sometimes it's tempting to switch the magnet rather than the inline light switch causing the magnet to let go. My fault but the base has on and off on it for the magnet and it just can happen. I think it was a bit expensive and would shop around if I needed to replace it.

Good value for the money strong and robust

I bought this to illuminate the blade on my bandsaw. It cast a bright, compact patch of light, which was just what I wanted.But after about three months of very intermittent use - I don't use my bandsaw every day, or even every week - it stopped working. All it could manage was a very dull flicker from the three LEDs.Thankfully, those nice people at Amazon have agreed to refund my money. Which is good, because this lamp was very expensive, for what it was.

I'm afraid there is a slight flicker and I have changed the switch but still flickers.Can't complain for the money it gives out a bright light which is why I bought it.

the magnet couldn't pick up a pin its so weak . . .the light however is brilliant

Small glitch in delivery insofar as the model supplied had a continental plug instead of a UK version. Contacted the supplier who dispatched the correct version by return of post (without having to mess about with returns). Arrived promptly and was working within half an hour. Good directional beam and strong magnetic base. Very happy.
