Had to modify box for it to fit but it does the job.
The other reviewers are not kidding, this thing is very deep. I installed it in a standard depth exterior PVC box and it collided with the rear conduit threads. I ended up having to cut back some of the plastic in the back of the box to get this to fit. Being that this is the only Weather Rated receptacle with USB ports it's not like I had other options so I made it work but if you have the opportunity to install a deep box it will make things easier.Otherwise it feels sturdy and well built and works as expected.

Not sure what the problem is
I give this three stars because I'm guessing. If it is my goof, give it five. If it really is a problem with the unit, give it one.I installed this into a circuit that had a GFCI plug at the beginning of the run, and once I plugged a string of lights into it the ground fault switch interrupted and would not reset. It could be that the incorporation of a transformer to convert the current for the USB ports makes it incompatible with a ground fault detector -- they can be a bit fussy. I double checked my wiring to be sure that both black and white wires were the same length and that everything was correctly installed. The GFCI switch itself functions normally without this unit attached, and the string of lights had not tripped the interrupt before changing to this outlet. So, I'm pretty sure that my guess about these being incompatible with GFCI detectors is accurate. Other than that, the unit works well and is really pretty cool to have. I moved it to a non GFCI line and it works fine there.

Too deep.
This outlet measures a whopping 1.8" deep (from the flange that presses against the decora cutout). This is too deep for my, and probably many, outdoor junction boxes. I have a similar USB outlet that is only 1.5" deep, and it barely fits.

This outlet is very deep! Get deep outlet box
I did not realize how deep this was. Very deep ~ 2". Would not fit in my outdoor 1 gang box. Should have installed a deeper box!
