Gabriel Cosmetics Liquid Foundation, Organic Formula- 1 fl oz. (Soft Beige, 1.0)

I love this concealer. It is light weight and doesn’t clog pores and goes on smooth giving me all day coverage. It is a bit thinner than some concealers I’ve used, but I actually prefer that.

Gabriel liquid foundation makeup is not available in my local grocery stores, so I resorted to purchasing online. Service from this source was very fast. The glass bottle was well packed and arrived safely. Why do I like Gabriel liquid foundation? It never burns my eyes, it goes on smoothly and semi-transparently--that is, it covers most blemishes and minimizes the major ones. I have a surgical scar on my cheek and am satisfied with just the foundation coverage with no added camouflage techniques: The scar shows through the makeup, but not significantly so. Once on, the foundation lasts all day.

Wow! Been searching for a good foundation that isnt full of chemicals. I'm 33 with light skin, no wrinkles, but always seem to have a few scattered blemishes (grrr). I tried Juice foundation before this stuff. Juice smells amazing but coverage is lacking and certainly doesnt last more than a few hours. The Gabriel foundation glides on and a light layer even covered my blemishes. It isnt heavy or smelly. It is a small bottle. Just a little larger than a nail polish bottle. So not sure how long it will last. But I dig it. :)

Goes on smooth, and looks very natural. Has a strange odor to it but that's probably just because of the organic ingredients

This foundation is great, a bit on the thin side, but that is how I like it.

I visited a local store that carries both Gabriel and Zuzu foundations. I had never tried these foundations before. They didn't have my shade in either one in stock, but I tried a little of each on separate wrists. I could tell the Gabriel foundation was oily, but after an hour or so it seemed less so. The Zuzu foundation wasn't oily at all, but I worried that on my face it would be too dry and would look flaky. I decided to order both foundations. I got the Gabriel foundation here on Amazon, and the Zuzu from Gabriel's website. I tried the Gabriel foundation first. I used it without a primer, but did have a moisturizer on (Clinique Gel 100 hour moisturizer). It felt like I had slathered my face in olive oil. It was irritating and after just 15 minutes I had to remove it as I couldn't stand it. All that said, the shade was what I expected and was perfect for me, so it's a shame it didn't work for me. My sister uses Gabriel foundation and loves it, so I gave it to her. It looks very natural on her - and doesn't look oily at all. I've never seen it settle in her fine lines. It's always looked good on her. Next I tried the Zuzu foundation, and used a primer this time. It worked much better for me. It didn't settle in lines or creases, and though it contains no oil it didn't look flaky on my skin. It looked very natural. Not too matte, not too dewy. The Zuzu foundation didn't irritate my eyes or skin at all. The Gabriel foundation, though I didn't like the feel of it on my skin, didn't irritate my eyes either. If you are used to wearing a foundation with oil in it, you might like the Gabriel one. If not, you might like the Zuzu foundation better. I think Zuzu gives a little better coverage than Gabriel, but both are pretty sheer. I use two coats of Zuzu over my cheeks because they're red. It fades it out enough and I use blush anyway so it works ok for me. I wore the Zuzu all day to a party, got many compliments on how beautiful I looked, and forgot I was even wearing it by the end of the day. It held up very well. I didn't see any flakes, settlement, beads of color, or areas where it rubbed off. I can only assume, based on seeing my sister in the Gabriel foundation, that it would hold up as well. I think both foundations are good, and the one that works for you will depend on your tolerance to the oil.

I’m in love with this! The coverage is perfect. Light but evens out my skin. My skin is touchable and the makeup does not transfer.

It’s gentle, fragrance free and caused no breakouts. It’s also very sheer with little coverage, looks oily within minutes, and disappears in a few hours. Not well suited for oily skin or those who need medium to full coverage.
