Modway Render 63" Mid-Century Modern Sideboard Buffet Table or TV Stand in Walnut

I’ve put a fair amount of furniture together in my lifetime, and for that matter, taken a quality punt on furniture purchased online pretty frequently. This piece leads the pack. It arrived quickly and well packaged. I unpacked each piece before starting assembly. Every single wood piece was flawless - not a scratch, ding or chip to be seen. Every piece was clearly labeled, with all the hardware individually packed in identified pouches. Putting it together was a breeze (though it does take a while). Every hole was perfectly located and sized, everything aligned, instructions were clear, and we ran into no problems. One person can easily assemble (would be faster with two), though you’d need two to move the finished piece around. Assembled, it looks so good!! Indistinguishable to to the eye from our nearby C&B and R&B items (of course those are solid wood, and will perhaps last longer - but for the money, this item is perfect). I am thrilled with this addition to our dining room and would definitely look at other furniture manufactured by this company for future needs.

I recently purchased the Mid-Century Sideboard Buffet. This piece has added both style and functionality to my living room, and I want to share my experience in this Amazon product review. While it's made of particleboard, this sideboard feels surprisingly sturdy and well-constructed. Assembling it was straightforward, thanks to clear instructions. The materials feel durable, but it's essential to handle it with care to maintain its longevity. Sliding door requires lots of adjustments or else it will fall on your feet, and I can say it by experience. With three full-extension drawers, this stand offers ample storage space for all my media components, and more. The drawers glide smoothly and have enough room for organization. The open shelving area is perfect for displaying decorative items, plants, or even my gaming consoles. I have a 65" TV, and it fits perfectly on this stand. I highly recommend this product. It's a solid purchase for the price.

This is a nice looking piece and very sturdy. Assembly was pretty easy. My son and I put it together in about an hour and a half. We are using it as a dresser.

Once assembled, it looks very good. The front sliding cabinet doors are solidly built and slide easily. Assembly was easy, though you need a bit of space and it goes better with two people, and almost everything went together smoothly. The wood is fairly low-quality particle board (larger chips and lots of voids), and I cannot imagine it holding up to much abuse. This is not solid wood furniture, and isn’t advertised as such. For the price, this is a nice-looking, well-built piece of furniture.

Well designed. Easy to put together. Well-written instructions. Solid medium density chip board with perfect veneer covering. No chipboard is visible on the inside of the shelving or drawers. Not a cheap piece of junk. Easy slide doors and drawers. Walnut color is perfect. If I didn't know it was assemble-yourself, I would have thought it came from a reputable furniture store. Well-packaged. Adjustable shelves are solid. Backing has plenty of support brackets and is not cheap cardboard. Matches my 1973 mid-century solid walnut dining set really well. Only thing I'd advise is to use a drop or two of wood glue in all the peg holes as we did. Just reinforces it, but not included or necessary...just a good piece of advice. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Yes, this looks like a nice piece of furniture at a good price but this is NOT sturdy at all. One of the siding boards broke through the side of the buffet after one month which we accepted. But now 11 months later, the bottom legs are crumbling. Do not waste your money!

Very happy with my purchase! The veneer has a matte finish/texture which enhances the overall appearance. The shipment arrived earlier than scheduled and came in two separate boxes, packed well with lots of Styrofoam and paper - no shifting detected. The instructions suggest two people for assembly but I was able to do it alone, without issue, in about 1 1/2 hour despite the 63" length. I suggest (as the instructions say) to take out all the pieces & inspect. Also, putting them in order really helped with construction. All the holes are pre-drilled but be sure to pay close attention to the diagrams so everything is placed correctly the first time (press/particle board isn't very forgiving if you have to remove and replace screws, and try to avoid using a power drill). Also, keep track of all the hardware they send because you get exactly what you need and no extra. All in all. everything fit perfectly and went together easily, no splitting or chipping. Its a heavy, sturdy piece.

This piece is absolutely beautiful. It came in two packages, all very well packed and protected. The instructions were incredibly easy to follow with each piece of furniture and hardware labeled to follow along. Bought this as an entry piece and it’s now my favourite piece of furniture and bought a matching tv stand. Highly highly recommend, it’s so well built and beautiful.

Fairly straightforward to build. Instructions easy to follow all parts including screws etc are labeled and easily identified. Love the look of this piece. Lots of storage. Only downside one of the clips for sliding door broke. Will order from their website and hopefully does not take long to receive. Also the price went down $50 before it was delivered, I will be asking for that price match. Will follow up with this review on both points.
