The hat is well made and feels like quality materials were used. It is a better fit for more circular heads. If you normally wear long oval hats, there may be a little space above your ears. This became more of a feature than a bug because it let in fresh air and kept my head cool in warm weather.

The hat is very stiff, and doesn't seem to have great quality to it. But it looks nice, and it's reasonably priced. It's better than those cheap $10 Halloween costume hats you can buy. However if you want a a nice derby hat to wear with a nice suit, then spend the extra $20 to get a high quality one.

You are never quite sure how things are going to look/fit until they actually arrive, but this one exceeded expectations. Good fit, good look, good construction. Quite pleased with it - would certainly recommend it.

This hat is has a lot more quality than I expected. It came in a legit hat box, and is a lot firmer and heavier than I expected. I expected a floppy hat in the shape of this one, but this one feels firm and feels expensive. I was a bit uneasy about the price at first, but for this quality, it's definitely worth the price. I do have a pretty big head, so it doesn't quite fit me all the way. But it still fits how I would wear it, so it's not too big a deal. The quality is so good, I almost feel like I can only wear this on special occasions! I've wanted a hat like this ever since I lost mine and I'm glad I got this one.

Received the hat and loved the hat. Wore it to a wedding and got many compliments. I would have given it five stars but it came without the feather. Don't see how to contract the vendor to request one.

My husband loves this hat. size chart was correct. Very durable as well and high quality. Our friend has a custom made hat and his is much smaller and flimsier and was way more expensive. Worth it!!!

I found the hat size runs a little large. It does come with spacers to take up the slack. In my case the front to back dimension was about right, but side to side was maybe 1/2 inch too wide. I used the spacers!. There are methods to stretch felt hats up to 1/2 size or to shrink them. These may also allow one to narrow or broaden the width of the hat. This hat has a satin lining and an internal band. I bought it for a special event but may use it more often.

I liked that it came with stick on pads so it fit even better. Allowed me to make the changes i needed.

My dad got this for my brother for Christmas and they're both super happy with the hat. Way better quality than any of us expected. Such a beautiful hat!
