Great product! Working very well - easy install
Fit my door, and door knob perfectly. Just what I was expecting. I would recommend to anyone in need of a replacement door latch.

Cheaper than replacing the whole doorknob
It was much more cost effective to replace this piece then the entire door knob and dead bolt set. The only issue was after I got it installed, the lock wouldn't work. I had to uninstall it and reinstall it and then it worked.

Worked great
I had bought a set of knobs at Lowes that also had dead bolts and keys for two doors. The deadlatches, seeming to be Chinese knock offs of a US quality lock came through with the hole at an angle, and you could never get the door to close properly. These worked great.

Lasted less than 3 months.
I had big issues with this product:After a month, I got locked inside my bathroom a few times because the piece that goes into the wall wouldn't open all the way, so the door wouldn't open. I found out if I moved the door handle upwards (instead of downwards, which is normal to open any door) then it would open all the way, unlocking the door.The last time this happened, I couldn't open the door. No matter if I moved the handle downwards or upwards. The piece that goes into the wall wouldn't retract all the way at all. I had to ask someone from outside to slide a knife through the door opening at the bottom, so I can force the door open. It was NOT FUN.Now I disassembled this lock and was trying to "fix it" and guess what: now the piece that goes in and out doesn't move anymore. It goes "in" and stays in. I need to hit it hard to come out. I am done with this.

The dealer doesn’t have any in stock. Amazon comes through again. Fast and at a decent price. Could have used some directions but its not rocket science.

OEM replacement
Exact OEM replacement for the mechanism that was worn from normal use. Easy fix 5min tops. Other replacement mechanisms won’t fit right and won’t operate correctly. Order a ULo8 replacement and save yourself the runaround.

Inside cannot rotate separately from outside otherwise operates well. McKean

.... as opposed to 5/8". Otherwise the product is of good quality.
