HBN Weekly Programmable Digital Wall-Mounted Timer Switch

Easy to install timer which I use to control a secondary return pump on a hot water system. The timer fits on a standard back box and just screws right in. You will need a battery for the timer which is purchased separately. Manual isn’t fantastic and you need to use some common sense to install but it does describe the programming of the timer well. I liked the multiple programming options. I believe it is possible to programme 7 on/off periods in a day which is useful. All in a cost effective time switch which I am pleased with.

I bought this to control the operation of a fan in a drying room which had a humidity sensor and was noisy if it kicked in overnight. It was easy to fit onto a standard UK back box (which some seem not to be). Although the title says 'non-programmable', you can set a number of on/off switches for each day of the week as per the description. The back up battery (so the settings are retained in a power cut) does not come with the unit. Overall, did exactly what I needed at a good price

It works well at a reasonable price. I switch outside lights on and off with it. It is installed in the garage.

This is excellent for the timer switching purpose so why only 3 Stars? Simple things like back plate fixing screws too short, poor instructions including no mention of the battery back-up installation or polarity and display, particularly On/Off/Auto difficult to see to see. Considering the limited choices available at a reasonable price, this is, as I said excellent and works well. An LED showing when active is useful and the AG5 back-up battery was included. Simple additions would make it 5 Stars.

Excellent and easy to use. Back-up battery means settings are retained in the event of a power cut. Manual over-ride button to turn on/off at other times if needed.

Connected to the heating element in a dual-fuel towel radiator. Works perfectly and much more convenient than the old mechanical one. This allows up to 8 different programs, and can repeat daily, week-daily or weekend-ly. Only downside is (for me) the buttons are a little small and the display is not backlit, but a torch and pair of glasses sorted that out.

I bought this device to fit on my boat to control the immersion to only come in on at the weekends. Has 9 separate programs I only needed the two 1.Turn on immersion just before we arrive on a Friday evening and 2. Turn it on again for the shower in the mornings Works fine,fits on my panel ok, Even acts as an extra clock Put a backup battery in it (not supplied and not the easiest to get 1.5volt Ag5 or similar) Clock keeps time and programs even when sailing so don’t have to reset it when I arrive back it port Highly recommend so far Yes 5 Stars *****
