How does this attach to the lid? I don’t see any place for it to connect.

It only connects to certain types of OXO lids. I didn't realize this and mine is not the correct type. I just washed it in very hot water, soaked it for 15 minutes, then laid it directly in the container with the hard brown sugar. It worked great!

How frequently should I RE-soak this disk to keep the moisture going?

I soak mine every time I open the container to use the brown sugar. Not sure if it needs to be done that much, but we don’t use brown sugar a lot.

Is there a way to attach this and a scoop to the lid? Brown sugar containers need both a saver and a scoop!

Not that I know of. I ending up getting a container that was for brown sugar and it had a sugar saver already in the lid.

Can the Brown Sugar saver be used for white Sugar?

The brown sugar saver keeps the brown sugar moist so it does not dry out. You definitely do NOT want your white sugar to be moist since it will cause it to have clumps!!
