Dog Bone Cake Pan & Pawsome Cake Mix (Pumpkin)

Bought this for our chiweenie's first birthday, We were a bit apprehensive after reading the reviews on the cake mix so we waited. Finally, we decided to at least order a dog cake pan and saw this combination. It had the new pumpkin flavor so we gave it a try. The bone pan said it was dishwasher and microwave safe, even oven safe. We were concerned with its rubbery feel about putting it in the oven but thought ehh... what the ... it said preferably don't spray the pan first so we didn't. It said make the mix in a separate bowl, nah to many dishes so we made the mix right there in the bone pan and threw it in the oven, hoping it wouldn't melt. Few minutes later, we had a cake that looked like the real thing, it even smelled like pumpkin and cinnamon. We let it cool then turned it upside down on a flat plate, it fell right out. We made the frosting and I have to agree with the reviews it was nasty looking and smelling, like a very THICK white toothpaste ugh, we spread a paper thin layer over the cake so it wasn't just a brown cake. Our dogs loved it, though we did notice it was a bit dry so we put water near them to drink. Which they did profusely but then went back to indulging in the cake. Will order again as it was worth the price, easy to do, dogs loved it and easy to clean. However, will throw the frosting away !

If you've ever made a cake mix out of the box, this doggie cake is a breeze. The kit comes with a silicon cake pan, cake mix, and frosting mix. You'll need to provide water, eggs, and vegetable oil. The cake came out great. I picked pumpkin because pumpkin is easy on dogs' stomachs. Pippin (my basset hound) shared his cake with a few of his friends. Everyone really enjoyed it (and no one got sick).It was a treat for him. And we really enjoyed making it and celebrating his birthday.

My pup was obsessed with his birthday cake! Super easy to make, loved the ingredients were safe for my pup. He couldn’t wait to have a little slice for breakfast his whole birthday week. Highly recommend!

I don’t know if you can tell from the pictures, but I think he liked it :)Got this for my dogs barkday. It was super easy to make and it turned out super cute! Additionally it did NOT give him any digestive upset or anything. Will be getting another for his adoptiversary!

My fur babies mean the world to me, so having this special cake "pan" to celebrate their special day is wonderful. I've had it for like 2 years now and its still not only in wonderful condition, but works just as well!

The cake smelled delicious and came out perfect, despite the rubber mold looking too flimsy for the oven. The icing was stinky but the only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because our dog didn’t like the icing therefore he didn’t want the cake 🙄

This cake was super easy to make and feed four dogs with some leftover.I just wish I could by the mix on its own now that I have the mold.Also be careful when moving the cake in the mold because it broke into two pieces.

I would give this a 0 if I could. My dog had really bad diarrhea after eating his cake and the icing did not mix very well. I wont be buying this again.
