No leaks, smooth pour!
As others have said, the new gas jugs that are supposed to be safer really suck to use. The spout leaks gas all of your hand when pouring. These replacements are awesome!! Work really well and no gas spilling on your hands!! Bought two for the new gas jugs we purchased.

Great replacement spout
Bought this to replace the awful spout that was supplied with a Midwest 2-gallon gas can. Fits well, doesn't leak but I have to deduct 1 star because (it would have been nice) but it didn't come with a beaded cable tie so I don't misplace the cap. I ended up using string.

Perfect fit for Midwest can
I like filling my scooter tank at home instead of having to stop at the gas station and mess with helmet and gloves and the fume cover on the nozzle. Unfortunately, I hate most of the safety nozzles because my tank is in the floorboards and I always end up spilling with them. The one that came with my Midwest can had some kind of faulty seal and would leak out the sides of the cap while you were getting the nozzle into place. Actually created more of a safety issue than just a regular nozzle. I got one of these to see if I could make the can usable instead of buying a whole new one. It took less than a minute to install and then I was able to just uncap it and fill my bike easily. Absolutely a game changer. I'm not worried about anyone else having access to my gas can and I don't store gas in it super long term, so I don't really need the extra safety features, and I'm just not coordinated enough to actually get a benefit out of them. Should have replaced the nozzle years ago. I do kind of wish it had a sharper angle because the opening of my tank is parallel to the ground, but still worth it. I didn't install the vent and didn't have any trouble emptying a 2 gallon container into my gas tank. I probably won't install it, but having it included is a positive as are the extra rings for fit. The seal is great. I can hold a full tank upside down with the cap on and nothing leaks. I wouldn't recommend it, but if it gets knocked over when capped you're probably fine.

Very good fit!
This solved a problem of matching a nozzle to a diesel 5 gal tank. Completely met my expectations!

How to defeat EPA stupidity...
Anyone who has tried to pour gasoline or diesel out of a modern spout has wondered why the new spouts dribble and are hard to handle. The answer is...the federal rules governing fuel cans were apparently written by the same lot who brought us 'child-resistant' medicine bottles. The EZ-Pour rigid spout works around all that gumph. One selects the right ring for the can one is using, tightens it over the spout, and pours away. When finished, one screws the small yellow cap in place on the end of the spout. However, store the can out of direct sun, since heat can and will blow up a plastic can like a balloon if one does not install the provided vent cap. This is not a bug, buta testimony to how well the spout seals the can. Have bought before; will likely buy in the future.

EFFECTIVE REPLACEMENT FOR TODAY'S GAS TANKS
I absolutely love EZ-POUR Rigid Spout. In fact, I bought one for each of my gas tanks because, just as the product called, IT'S EASY TO POUR. Today's spouts have all these safety features that not only make it hard to pour but they also pour gas everywhere except where I want it to go. As long as companies making spouts that doen't work, I will continue to replace my spouts using EZ-POUR Rigid Spout. Oh, I also wanted to share that the vacuum release nipple is very easy to install. Love it all. Thank you for the product EZ-POUR!

Not the best, at least for long term
I installed the vent plug on two cans. One snapped off at 2 years, the other at 3 years. Both times, I had just filled my plastic cans with gas and was left scrambling to find something to plug the hole before transporting them from the gas station. Don't expect a long life; the vents seem to be cheap plastic.
