This is the second "buckles" we have purchased for the baby, she loves it, the first one was lost on a trip. She's great at undoing and reconnecting all the different kinds of buckles. When reordered, we never received it, and seller made it good immediately and sent a replacement right away. I highly recommend this product and seller.

Based on past reviews, I bought this toy for my 20 month-old son for our trip from the U.S. to Hong Kong. I busted it out on the plane, and it kept his little hands busy for literally hours! Amazing! We used it when travelling throughout Hong Kong, on the train, in restaurants, etc. and he continued to love it and it kept him busy and quiet. At first he could only do the red and yellow buckle, but by the end of the week he was starting to get the flat and circular buckles. The only thing is he still needed us to unbuckle it for him, since he hadn't figured it out yet. He would hand it to us, we would unbuckle it, and give it back to him over and over. I also love the numbers and he likes pointing to them and we try to "count" together. So well-made, Bucky survived getting stuffed into backpacks, the diaper bag, being thrown across hotel rooms, and accidentally dropped from the stroller, all without seams breaking or showing dirt! He has also never pinched himself yet. Now that we've been home for 1 month, he can do all the buckles, unbuckle some of them, and still feels satisfaction after completing them all. It's still one of his favorite toys, and he loves giving Bucky hugs. Well-made and recommended for any parent wanting to keep their little ones busy for a while. I bought one for my cousin's daughter who is 14 months old, and hope she loves Bucky just as much!

My daughter LOVES this turtle! She recently came obsessed with a buckle toy at daycare & I couldn’t find it anywhere. Got this for her & she will sit for at least 45 min buckling it & having me unbuckle.

I bought this for my son and my friends daughter who is 7 weeks older than my son. My son is 11 months old and I plan on giving this to him on his birthday. My friends daughters birthday is this weekend so I'll come back and update you on how she likes it. I got a chance to fiddle around with it though. I wanted to make sure the buckles wouldn't "snap" shut as I don't want to risk getting their little fingers caught in the buckles when they clip. But the buckle clicks shut very softly if that makes any sense. They don't have a lot of resistance so it's a smooth click when they do close. Not a tight click (again if that makes any sense). I think it's a perfect gift for their learning brains. I give it a 5 star rating because the product is WELL put together, no loose strings. The zipper is on there right and it's MEANT for a toddler. I don't feel as if these buckles are ANY where close to the car seat buckles. I posted on Facebook about this item seeing if any of my friends has used this with their kids and immediately someone mentioned "I don't think this is a good idea. It's teaching them how to get out of their car seats or high chairs" - NOT AT ALL THE CASE. If your kid can unbuckle themselves then I would be more concerned about the company making your carseat or high chair rather than this little toy. Car seat buckles are SO strong and difficult to unbuckle even as an adult. I wouldn't worry about if your kid can unbuckle himself/herself after using this toy. This toy teaches them how to unbuckle but they are gentle buckles. Not durable car seat buckles

My daughter likes turtles so this stuffed animal is perfect for her. Learning how to use different buckles keeps her occupied since some are more difficult than others. The turtle is durable, easy to wash, cuddly, and fun to play with. There is even a zippered area on the top to store small items such as stickers. Great value since it’s been a staple in our car for over 6 months and counting.

A great busy toy that my recently turned 2 year old is absolutely enamored with.. thats a win! She began showing interest a few months ago on her carseat, high chair, backpack buckles, so i knew she would love this when i saw it! She cant quite unfasten the clips herself but that's okay... i undo them, then she's busy/still/occupied for about 5 mins while she's refastening.. finds me to unfasten them all, then we start over again. Minus one star because of the size vs. price. I had read reviews about the small size and even looked at reviewer photos... even still, the toy is a little smaller than i anticipated. We got the turtle - it's super cute, but legs and all, about the size of a small dinner plate. Easily portable though so thats a plus!

I bought this for my grandson who has a "thing" for opening and closing buckles. Unfortunately he was getting pretty good and opening the buckles on his high chair, car seat and just about all of those meant to keep him safely secured. I'm not sure why buckles are such an interesting thing but apparently they are. So, I ordered this toy in the hopes that it would keep him occupied with the right buckles and he would leave the safety ones alone! I'm pleased to report that this has become one of his favorite toys! Even though he often doesn't necessarily pair the right colored buckle with it's mate, they all seem to go together somehow and it keeps him busy and entertained. There's even a zipper on the back (shell) side of the turtle and the buckles come in a variety of styles. He will fiddle with this toy endlessly!

Purchased for a Christmas gift for our grandson who loves buckles. Hasn’t been road tested yet but looks great and seems well made. It’s exactly as pictured and described.

Highly recommend!!! This turtle was played with the moment I purchased and far beyond. Its got soo much use (plus it washes great!!) and still looks pretty amazing! Awesome quality. Great for toddlers, busy fingers. I only wish the zipper compartment was a little bigger so kids could put bigger items inside, but I will still give 5 star since overall toddlers loved this (and for a long time!!)

This was one of the best purchases we have made! We went on a 3 week road trip this summer and my 2 year old son played with this for hours. This kept him busy and entertained in the car and his older sisters also enjoyed playing with it. This is a soft and engaging quality toy, and because of motion sickness we discovered it washes well! My son loves doing up the buckles and the zippers. He did have trouble opening some buckles so he would pass it back to us to open the clips and then close them all again himself. He did eventually learn how to open all of them. All the colours clip into each other as well, making it fun to create different combinations and the straps are long enough to clip in front or behind the turtle. The turtle itself is soft and cuddly even with the buckles and zippers. There is a zipper on the back with a pocket with enough space to store little trinkets. There are also two bigger buckles on the back that my son found easier to open as they were the same type found on his booster chair.

My 2 year old loves to play with buckles so knew she would love this toy. She spent half an hour buckling and unbuckling this turtle and it was hilarious to watch her face contort as she was concentrating. On a developmental side, this is a great tool for hand-eye coordination, dexterity and focus. The turtle is good quality, the buckles are sturdy and the colors are vibrant. The zipper on the back is a bit hard to zip up because there is fabric underneath that gets stuck, so I just help out until my daughter can figure it out herself.

A favourite toy for a toddler obsessed with buckles. The different variety of buckles keeps it interesting and she will sit and buckle and unbuckle them over and over again. The zipper down the back taught her how to unzip things and she frequently unzips her own diaper bag to get snacks now. Be prepared for a child who is much more capable at accessing things if you get this! Great for learning skills for early independence.
