Very difficult to read
This vernier calliper is both metric and imperial. The imperial rough scale is graduated in eighths instead of tenths, like it should be. Just try measuring to a thousand of an inch ???? The metric scale is very difficult to read because of the size of the tiny graduations on the rough scale. It put it in my odd drills tin for sizing, please buy a dedicated imperial or metric calliper, life will be a lot easier.

WHEN BUYING ANY TOOL ITS ALWAYS A BALANCE BETWEEN COST AND USAGE. THIS CALIPER IS WELLWORTH THE MONEY FOR A LIMITED USE TOOL. THE ACTION IS SNAG FREE, NOT THE SMOOTHEST BUTWILL PROBABLY BED IN. IF I HAVE ONE CRITICISM ITS THE MM ETCHING WHICH IS ON THE SMALL SIDECOMPARED TO THE INCH HOWEVER FOR TWENTY THREE QUID YOU CANT GO WRONG.

Can't fault them
Very accurate and easy to read. They don't hold a perfect zero forever but it takes a matter of seconds to re-zero so that's not an issue in my books. Overall, well worth the very reasonable price.
