Hinged lid makes for easy open--close. Wide-mouthed jar enables easy cleaning. Heats up rapidly. Stay nearby and switch off if you don't want the liquid to be over-heated. Reaches boiling point soon. Do not detach jar from electric base when the heat switch and red indicator light are on. Electric cord is looooong. No struggle to reach even a slightly elevated, lowered plug point. Handle is sturdy, durable and solidly bears the weight of a full jug of water, when tilted for pouring. Outer and inner stainless steel body have remained rust-free after several months of usage. Cons: 1. On-off switch tends to malfunction/ stop functioning after several months of usage. The authorised Prestige service centre did a shoddy switch replacement repair job. The replaced switch unit gets heated up (the original switch that came with the product was heat free) , it also emits and spurts small droplets of hot water on the unwary user's hand, when reaching for the handle, if the liquid in the jar is heated to boiling point. 2. The connecting mechanism of the hinge below the lid develops a small rusty patch after daily, frequent usage. Wipe dry, to ensure this rust doesn't condense / flake into the heated water. This is a design defect that Prestige needs to address and rectify in an otherwise near-perfect product. Otherwise, it would have merited 5 stars.

Best Quality Product, Long term Using Experience, Reliable, Overall Best in electric kettle.

Terrible product. It's not worth buying. You can't boil milk in it because the design is not suitable for that purpose. Residue from previously boiled milk remains inside, which can spoil the next batch of milk. Additionally, the kettle lid has very sharp edges, and you can easily cut your hand while cleaning it.

The product worked well - fast heating, auto cut off, made a habit of drinking warm water all the time. However, about 12 months into it when the warranty expired, it just failed and doesn't switch on anymore. There was no brown out or electricity issue at that time, so it looks like the coil or circuit gave up

The product is awesome 👍🏼, worth the price, still good after a year of use
