Great product, sad packaging
I love the product but will be returning this and buying it on eBay because if I get a replacement through Amazon they're just going to put the sealing tape over the label again.

Great for Split Driveshaft Splines
I have a 2005 2500HD Silverado Crew Cab truck with a split driveshaft. The are notorious for a "bump" feeling when stopping and starting from the slip yoke, as the rear suspension flexes and works. I tried everything I could and was to the point of pricing a new driveshaft to rid my truck of the feeling of being rear-ended every time I stop and the driveshaft needs to shorten or lengthen. This stuff does the trick. It is a small bottle, only 8oz for a lot of money. It was cheaper than a new driveshaft and appears to be the only thing that helps so far. It is really thick and is the only grease that will work on something like this. I have had it on over a month now and no issues.

Perfect.
Years of someone using the wrong grease on the bike I bought....cleaned all that up. Cleaned the driveshaft slip joint. Cleaned the final drive all up. Got it spotless and applied this as directed. I have to say it makes a difference. It made it much smoother and quieter. I also use this to grease the slip joints on my truck. Again, this stuff wonโt sling off. It cleaned up some noise on my truck. You may think itโs pricey but you get what you pay for. Would definitely but again. Should have sooner.

Pricey but very good
A bit pricey but this stuff is a true paste and once applied it stays put. A stiff brush for applying it is built into cap. The container contains what will likely be a lifetime supply of product for the DIY mechanic. Good for stuff like half shaft cv joints (vw super beetle), final drive shaft splines (Yamaha Virago shaft drive). Suggest you wear some old throwaway clothing and nitrile or latex gloves, this stuff turns up in the darndest places when used.

Replacement for Honda M77
First - this paste also goes by the name Loc-Tite LB8012; that's what I received in the mail. I'm not a materials scientist. I'm not going to even pretend to know anything about it's properties other than I was told by a veteran mechanic that this should be used in place of Honda M77. It also has a 60% or more moly content (it could be higher, check the data sheet). Apparently, there have been reports that M77 loses it's lubricity and can cause extensive damage to the splines of a shaft driven motorcycle. For $50 and piece of mind - it was worth it to me. If you are garage mechanic, you will probably have enough of this stuff to last you a life time and accommodate any friends who ask you for "moly paste" (which should be close to never). Comes with a brush attached to the cap.

Use for breaks maintenance
There is nothing more frustrating than finding that your break pads need replacement ahead of expected service interval due to uneven wear. I use this product to lubricate brake pad bearing surfaces that slide into the caliper. Such lubrication provides smooth operation of pads when breaking and releasing brakes. Proper maintenance of caliper pins and break pad shoulder lubrication ensures effective brake operation. This, in turn, assures even wear on break pads to give them the maximum life. Moly grease is high temperature thus it is very appropriate for this purpose and recommended by some brake parts manufacturers. only very minor amount needs to be applied and after checking breaks several months later the pads are still moving very well.

THE RIGHT STUFF FOR GL1500 SHAFT AND HUB SPLINES
Claims 65% moly. Correct for HONDA spline lubrication. Must clean off ALL old grease. It worked well....it better for this price. Will revise reveiw at next tire change.

Fast shipping!
I'm not sure how to evaluate this product, so I'll say that I got it faster than expected (from Alberta to BC), and it matched what I was expecting. I used it to lube a piston seal and compression spring, and it seems to be doing the trick, but I have no way of evaluating the product itself.
