It worked perfectly there was a crack in old fitting. Problem solved.

Not worth a single dollar....
The flange and bushing are NOT compatable. The bushing simply slides over the flange so it cannot be tightened up with the nut. Worthless....

Works
Just insurance that particles don't get fed into your softener body which could cause flow issues. This filter fits inside the 3/8 inch polyethylene at the softener body.
