Homegrown Elderberry Seeds, Elderberry Quantity (30)

As we are in a pandemic, I have decided to grow plants smh. I love elderberry and the idea of having something that i grew from seed myself. I wasnt sure about these at first because of some of the reviews, but this is what worked for me. I went to Lowes and got a self watering Greenhouse tray that had 14 peat pellets in it. I went a bit over board on the seeds because the packet had so many. They were in the green house for a total of 3 days before i started to see green. (Im growing a bunch of things together smh) I am no longer following the instructions other than giving then a slightly warmer/sunnier spot to germinate

I purchased what were advertised as Elderberry seed in August 2020.The packaging was a plain small envelope that was labeled elderberry with a home made labeler but had no photo or instructions like other seeds I have purchased . I planted several pots and only one plant took .After several months I was suspicious of the plant not being an elderberry plant as advertised due to the way it was growing and the leaves it produced. I used a plant id app and it identified the plant as Sweet marjoram, not elderberry. I am positive that it is not my error because I have never purchased marjoram seeds and no other seeds could have accidently got in the pot because it was in a self contained green house. I am very disappointed because I have been nurturing this plant since August of last year expecting an elderberry plant and it turns out to be something I have never even heard of

Okay, I have been growing things for a very long time. I come from a long line of farmers on both sides. I have been growing food since I was 8 years old. I won’t date myself but that is more than 40 years. Trees from seeds. Well I have never successfully grown one. So, when I got these seeds I plant 5 thinking most would not grow. Well now I have 5 trees. I don’t need 5 right now so I have to find homes for 3. Unique problem but I got some Newbie farmer friends so no worries the trees will find a home.

Looks like a lot of seeds, been waiting for warmer / spring weather. Planting today and will update review if they germinate.

A great taste in Tea By It's self however with dry lemon balm shoot it out the pocket But it is good-bye herself

I tried to germinate some seeds in different ways, Not One germinated. I tried to sow directly into some good growing soil and nothing grew. I have waited many weeks before I put in this review in hopes something would grow Nope not one seed grew or germinated.

Only 1 seed sprouted.
