Pleasently surprised! Wasn't really expecting much for the price and figured it would be fine for intended purpose - stand for practice pad and Korg Wave. Fits the bill perfectly. Not sure how it will hold up if I use it on gigs but I'm going to try it to see. Probably not the right stand for all of my snare drums but I feel it will be fine for the smaller ones. The overall weight will be great for hauling around. For the price this stand seems to be an exceptional value!

It's good for practice and for students, not for gigging unless you're desperate. I'm using it to try out an offset snare left of the hi-hat. I'm old school and have been fighting the whole concept, but I gotta say, it's fun as heck. I'll need to get a better stand for gigs, but for $20 it's a good deal.

It is a great stand!! Would love it as a drum set snare stand but it was not a concert stand so I had to return it because of height.

I brought the snare stand from Griffin before and it’s been holding up great for a couple years. The one I just received broke immediately. See photo of broken plastic collar.I like Griffin products, but I think I will request a refund from Amazon so I can order another snare stand that is more durable.

This is a great snare drum stand for the money. Solid, lightweight and enough height adjustment for a taller drummer who frequently has a bruise on his left thigh because the snare stand doesn't extend far enough, I love it.

It's worth $30
