RitcheyComp Street Bicycle Saddle

I was pleasantly surprised with this saddle (132 mm) which came with a new bike I purchased recently. After a 30 mile ride I decided that it was 90% as comfortable as my Specailized Romin Gel saddle. While my Specialized saddle was scuffed up and perhaps 5 years old, it's also a $110 saddle, so not surprised it's a touch lighter and more comfortable. Still, the Streem exceeded expectations given that it's a $40 saddle.

モデルチェンジをほとんどしないリッチーの製品、ということもあり、他メーカーのサドルが廃番になった10年ほど前から使ってます。WCSと形状が同じなので、カーボンのロードにはWCS、アルミのシクロクロス車にはこちらを使ってます。サドルベースのしなりがちょうどいい感じで、フィジークのPAVEやサンマルコのエラプロのような座面が水平な製品で腰の位置を状況に応じて変えたい方にはあうように思います。

やはりこれはココが良い！というよりは、定番中のド定番。あの先っちょがクイっと曲がったリッチータイプのシートポストと組み合わせた姿には、替わるモノが無い美しさがありますね。
