BOTH FITTINGS CRACKED.
first one I figured I tightened too much but then I replaced it with the second one and was very cautious to carefully install the mating connector. without failure the second one cracked before I even got to use it. had to completely disassemble my hose reel so when my new fitting that is of higher quality comes in I'll be able to use my hose reel

The threads are straight not tapered NPT or threaded too deep
You cannot get any mating part to seal because the threads on these LG tees are not tapered or they are threaded too deep. I checked them against new bar stock tees and the bar stock tees are good. The mating NPT pieces screw all the way in by hand with these tees. On the bar stock tees I bought locally you can see several threads remaining so you can get a tight leak proof joint.One picture is LG tee with mating piece screwed all the way in by hand.Other pic is a bar stock tee purchased locally with same mating piece screwed in as far as I could by hand.
