It works!
I will be giving this item 5 stars. Its been used on a 70# bow by a beginner(me). So far, I've shot about 100 times with it. I read all the reviews about it releasing early. Since I've gotten it I've made it a habit to hold the the trigger forwards as I take aim. The trigger is a little sensitive but I love it. The strap is comfortable, the trigger feels goods. The bolt holding the trigger to the strap does feel like its weakened after the 100 pulls but I've come up for a modification for it. I'll be using it to hunt soon. I be posting an update.

This is a fantastic release for the price
We bought one of each of the Patriot and Patriot Jr. They are identical except for strap length and pole length. So I'm putting mostly the same review in both. This is a fantastic release for the price. For under $20, you get a device that is functional as many of the $80 ones. I believe differences between this and the more expensive ones are:- Wider string clamp, though not by much.- Strap material... Nylon works for me though.- Steel vs. titanium- possibly less adjustable for trigger pull, etc.I may buy a more expensive one if I get deep into shooting, but this is 95% of what is needed at 1/4 the price. The trigger is great.NOTE: Some here complain about the hair-trigger. This is by design. Proper form is to put your finger behind the trigger as a safety during the draw. Then you aim and move your finger to the front of the trigger. Hold the aim on-target and just slightly contract your finger. You should have no tension in either hand, and if you have to pull something to get the arrow to fly, your aim will be off. Many experts will tell you that it is supposed to be a surprise when the arrow releases. Anyway, if you want a stronger trigger, this may not be for you. But your aim will improve if you adapt to the hair-trigger with proper form and process, rather than seeking out a different device that encourages worse form.

A bit twitchy, but works
Had the strap of my new Trophy Ridge ArchX (that came with Bear Species RTH Extra package) come loose from the release part sending it somewhere in my back yard as I pulled back, not sure how it happened as I only adjusted the length and never messed with how it was threaded....Anyway, needed a quick replacement to help start tuning new bow and this was same day delivery available so I ordered it....It works fine, I definitely like it can rotate being a lefty. Only issue I didn't care for was the sensitivity of the lever on pull back, and the fact when putting it on the D-loop ANY amount of touching the lever caused it to come off. There is no comforting "click" letting you know the clasps are closed around the D-loop....The flip side is I do like the quickness of the lever release, there is no lag, so once you're on your target, touch the release lever and off she goes....Like the velcro strap vs. buckle as well....Fyi, one thing I agree with others have mentioned, this is not for bigger wrists/hands, there is no adjusting the length from the strap to the release. It's a fixed length and you can only "adjust" the length in to your hand by loosening the velcro strap and allowing it to slide further into your hand....I have smaller wrists and hands so it wasn't an issue, but can see how it could be....I will be buying a different one for actual hunting though as the sensitive nature of it and the lack of knowing it's locked on the D-loop is too unnerving to trust in a tree stand, at least for me....but pretty nice release for the money, but could be great with a few improvements.

Good quick release for young bow hunters.
Exactly as shown, came quickly, works perfectly.

Old fashioned is old for a reason
I grew up shooting the old fashioned way and used my fingers. After many years away from the sport I decided to get back into it. I figured I’d upgrade my tech this time around and got a nice new bow and this release. I was a little weary about the cost because I am a big believer in you get what you pay for but hey, I wanted to get comfortable with everything from the ground up before investing in some big $$$ release like other guys I know. From a first time users experience I have to say “why would I buy something else?” The release was easy to fit onto my wrist after a few adjustments. The trigger pull is adjustable to whatever you would prefer. After using this I’m not sure what else you need in a release. Because I'm new to the releases I figured I just don’t know any better but I had a buddy try it, who would have others to compare it to, and he was shocked I spent so little on it. Since starting back up I shoot almost daily and probably have thousands of shots with this so I'm not afraid to say this is a rare case when you get more then you pay for. Also, I will never miss the finger pain from the old fashioned way and I have a much more constant release as well. Just doesn’t compare.Pros:- Solid constructions- I like the feel of the trigger- Adjustable trigger release- Comfortable around the wrist- No more finger pain- Consistent releases, therefore improved accuracy.Cons:- Haven’t had any yet but will update if that changes.

good for the money but lacking
As a 40 year archer I have used a lot of different brands and types of equipment. I shoot recurves to compounds. I purchased this with a low cost take down recurve I was mailing out of state to a hunt destination. I didn't want to have $2000 of equipment get lost so I purchased a $300 set up that would do the job. I have finger problems that prohibit me from shooting fingers these days so I bought this release to use on the recurve. It works as it should, quality is good and acceptable for a broad range of shooters. I like a release that snaps shut on the string on its own and doesn't require you to push the trigger shut. I also like a better quite strap adjustment so I can take it on and off without noise from the tear of Velcro. Small gripes but in a more advanced hunting arena this is not the first choice, but as mentioned it is a very inexpensive release. Would I buy it again, maybe. But not for my compound big game hunting. Its good for what I purchased it for but not my first choice If I was out getting a new Matthews with all the bling.

Basic but functional
I purchased 1 and like it. It's basic, but operates perfectly well. The swivel is nice and I am suprised by the notes about poor fit. I am 6'1", with standard size hands and it fits me perfectly fine and doesn't seem even close to being trouble. With a slight bit of slack in the Velcro strap, the trigger easily reaches a good place in my fingers. If the strap was down tight, I could see the length being too short, but I would find a tight bracelet being uncomfortable. You'll need to use some grip to hold the body of the release instead of relying on the Velcro, but shouldn't that be the norm? I lost the first one and bought a second. I like it so much I bought a spare to have to make shooting with my friends easier. So, I have bought 3 in total and have been happy with them, especially for the price!
