I did quite a bit of searching before purchasing a dog bed, because I wanted a decent bed without paying the $30-50 they seem to be charging at stores. I have a medium sized dog, about 30 lb with a tall, lean build. I wanted a bed with good padding, and with taller sides/back he could snuggle up against. This one is a very good deal for the price--well-constructed, good size (slightly more roomy than I expected, even after checking the dimensions), nice and cushy. It arrived promptly, in an appropriate sized box so it was not all squashed and misshapen. I expect it would work well for dogs about 30-50 lb. It does not have a removable cover, and I have not yet tried to wash it, so we'll see if it holds up. But since I got the dark brown one, I'm not expecting to have to wash it too often! ;) The outer dimensions listed are fairly accurate, the inner dimensions (where the dog lies down) are about 19" x 14". My dog immediately curled up in it, and looks very comfy. I may have to order another for when he comes to work with me! The photo is about 5 minutes after the bed arrived.

Dog loves it and can't do without it.. when you take it to go wash it, he will chase you down. I've had it for 2 and a 1/2 years, and it's still intact. I just bought a new one so I could wash it without him being completely upset. He lays in it and chews on the side continuously, and it as still good, as new.

Such a great bed that I bought another one. Tossed it in the washer, air dried and ready to use. Both beds are still in great shape!

I ordered two of these (25" x 21") for my 25 pound Scottish Terriers. I didn't know what size to order so if they didn't fit I wasn't out much but would know what size I needed for future reference. They are just the right size! These are pretty nice and come ready to use right out of the packaging. My dogs took to these right away! A bargain for a dog bed @ the $20.00 price! I don't know how it will wash up, but I'm not worried about it as I think they will do fine in the washer.

I didn't have high expectations for this bed, which I bought in "used — very good" condition for $17. However, I was immediately very happy with the purchase as soon as it arrived! Much higher quality than any other beds for that price. The dark brown color is cute and hides dirt. It's soft/cozy. My picky 20-lb Aussie never approves of the beds we give her, but she seems to love this! She lays in it voluntarily. It's larger than I expected. Very nice. My 80-lb Doberman even tries to curl up in this "medium" sized bed haha! Probably not intended for big dogs, but she loves to curl up like that, so I guess it works for dogs like that. The medium sized bed is perfect for dogs up to 40lbs and maybe even up to 50lbs depending on their shape. All in all, happy customer here.

I would give this 10 stars if I could. What a great buy !!! All three of our furkids love this. I opened this in the bedroom (6-9-17) and placed it at the foot of the bed with plans to move it before I went to bed a bit later. Our Chihuahua Copper gets cold easily so he usually goes into another room to another bed where he pulls a blanket over him (and so his new sister won't bug him ~ lol) Before I knew it, he had gotten in the bed, pulled his blanket over him and went to sleep ~ ALL NIGHT he slept in this bed ~ lol This morning his new ornery sister Cierra laid it in 2 or 3 times and later Skipper climbed in and laid there for a while. It is plushy enough for them to be very comfortable so they aren't on a hard service (they always fluff up their own blankets and make a nest to lie/sleep on ~ they don't have to do that with this bed. I got the brown so it wouldn't show dirt as much as Skipper likes to walk through mud when it rains ~ typical boy ~ lol We need to get that small patch covered up to avoid that but for now, we'll let them enjoy their new bed along with another one I bought especially for Copper (home sweet home cloth dog house with roof to hold in heat)

Comparison priced with other dog beds, and for those that have the stand-up border around the edge, this is clearly the best value. We had brought a 7 month old beagle, big for his age and breed, and our elderly beagle was not going to let him sleep with us in the big people bed, so I wanted to have this ready. The pooch is 30 pounds with coltishly long legs and big feet he hasn't grown into yet. It's a little small for him unless he curls up compactly, but he likes it. Sometimes he flings himself on the carpet and puts his head in the bed. It's pretty cute. My dog would be more comfortable if I were to invest in a large bed, but when I looked at them, I swallowed hard at the asking price. He doesn't need a big bed that badly! This is exactly as pictured and is about the right size for a medium or small beagle, a small spaniel dog...any dog that is a fairly compact 30 pounds should be okay. For others, it may still be okay if it isn't important for the whole dog to fit in the bed. Come winter, my senior beagle will have gone over the Rainbow Bridge, and the cute little guy currently using this bed will graduate into my bed and just use this for the occasional nap, so I am fine with it. If I had a cold house or did not have carpeting, I'm not sure I'd want my short-haired animal using this bed for both sleep and warmth.

I actually like these beds. I’ve had 2 of these plus one of the orthopedic style. Problem is the seams rip so easily. For no real reason. The first one ripped near the tag. I hot glued it. Seemed to work for quite awhile. The second one ripped while washing. Hot glued it too. First one held together almost a year. Was pretty lumpy and saggy at the end. Finally got another hole and threw it out. The second one is still going. The orthopedic style didn’t last as long. Also had a seam rip but then my pup found the zipper and destroyed it The price is good enough that I may buy again

I bought 2. One in use and one in the wash. Have had them for a year or or more and they have worn very well. Still in use.

Our Morkie really loves this soft bed. She has lots of room to stretch out and be comfortable. And bring in as many stuffies as she wants to sleep with lol!! It’s so easy to clean the bed, just toss it in the machine. It’s been washed several times since we got it and still looks like new. Definitely recommend this bed.
