Enjoying it!
I love this game, it’s fun, easy to carry everywhere, easy to explain and fast. The quality is really good and got a great value for money. Size is small, pocket game.

Easiest to learn, fun, and quick game!
One of the best board game ever. So easy to learn as it has instruction card for each player and also on the card you have. Also, the round is pretty quick (may be 10-15 minutes when playing with four people). I also like the pouch so that you can bring the cards and gems safely.

A great card game
Been playing this for more than ten years. We always come back to it. Easy to learn, just of a enough decision space to challenge your group without overwhelming the members who don't normally play modern games.

Beautiful Design + Portable + Love This Game
Let's get the product-specific review out of the way. This edition of Love Letters is beautifully designed and highly portable. I have a habit of carrying it in my man-pockets and teaching it to whoever will listen. The cards are beautiful. Each one has a decently nuanced design that has sparked more than a couple of interesting conversations. The velvet-type bag is very nice, even after being discolored by my pocket lint.Let's talk about the game. I LOVE THIS GAME. My current standard is 60s to teach someone the basics of the game and one quick round for them to grasp. Every soul I've taught the game to has thoroughly enjoyed the game and my copy has quickly become multiple group traditions. The gameplay is simple and nuanced. Like I said, 60s to explain the basics. A single round of the game typically lasts a little under 5 minutes with most of the groups I've played with—five minutes *with* friend group banter included. I've played this game hundreds of times and still manage to encounter new situations. Its replayability is similar to Chess in that regard. I. LOVE. LOVE. LETTERS.

Great game for making deductions and decisions and determinations
LOVE LETTER gameActually I kid you not, we just finished playing a couple rounds of Love Letter on a Friday night. I played with my 16 year old 12 year old and 7 year old and they all play really well. Our 16 year old got one token and I got one also. We had a really interesting round just now where our 7 year old had the Countess valued at 8 and then put the Chancellor down which allows him to take 2 cards from the top and put 2 back to the bottom of the pile. Well, he drew a Guard valued at 1 and the Princess valued at 9 and that is the best card especially so late in the game. He secretly took that card and discarded the other 2. Since he had just beaten our 16 year old who had to discard a King valued at 7, we had an idea which one he might have. My daughter knew it and told me to use my Guard to guess which one our 7 year old had. She suggested he must have the Countess, but though it was possible and I agreed with her, I decided to guess the Princess knowing it was probably wrong. He was shocked and he was out because his old dad guessed the card he had. We didn't really know but you can determine who has what card based on the cards played. Anyway that was a little picture into our Friday night as the Red Sox were almost losing in 10 innings to the Detroit Tigers, but while playing LOVE LETTER the Red Sox pulled it off. Some games are short, some longer. But usually you can play a nice chunk of games and distribute the tokens to the winners. Sometimes luck helps. Sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes you are out before you know what hit you!?
