Much better than my older bluetooth transmitter.
It was time to replace my old Bluetooth transmitter since it battery swole up to the point that it popped open the case.I needed one that would accept a Toslink Optical Cable. This one fit the bill except my old Bluetooth headphones would not pair with it. A newer headset paired right away and, while the old transmitter lowered the sound quality of the source and suffered from eletrical interference with who knows wat, the sound quality was way better than before. There was still some lag that looks like the lip sync is off, but that may just be common to all Bluetooth devices or with Toslink.The old transmitter only had to be paired to a headset once. From then on, you just turned on the headset and it connected. The MaedHawk 5in1 Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter/Receiver requires that you push its pairing button each time you want to use it.Inspite of the above, the Maedlink was a giant step up from Bluetooth device it replaced when you consider the Toslink integration, the improved sound quality and the lack of interference.

Nice product if it worked
I tried all the possibilities and none of them work. In TX mode it pairs with a headset and a speaker but no audio output.I checked the optical cable it came with and there is light in it.I checked bypass mode ante also no sound. I checked the cable I was using to connect to the speaker with my phone and it was working.I tried the RX mode and paired it to my phone, again no audio output to the speaker but if I connect the cable to the phone there is sound so definetively it's the transmiter/receiver.

Very Easy to Use
A lot easier to use than my past transmitter. Easy use buttons. They aren't so small that you have to get a tool to push or move them. Easy to pair with bluetooth headphones. It does connect to a USB port and other cables for your use.

Failed in less than 6 months.
Purchased October 2019 and failed April 2020. Had the device connected to a tv in my family room for use with headphones when needed. Yesterday the bluetooth connection stopped working. The LED will change from red to blue when charging but goes off when the power source is disconnected. Pressing or holding the button does nothing.

Small, high cost performance, good sound quality
Recently, I was complained by my family for watching TV late at night. My friend recommended me the bluetooth adapters. It's a new product to me, but I fell in love with this little gadget after I got it.I mostly love the transmitter function. I plug one end of the optical cable into the TV and the other end into this adapter, then I can enjoy TV myself with my bluetooth headset without delay. I don’t need to worry about disturbing my family anymore.

Install was easy pairing as well. Transmition signal is very strong.

Good but not perfect.
I liked the ability to switch between RX and TX. Making it easier to switch between device type. My only issue was the power cord. It kept slipping out and wouldn't stay in. So it would disconnect easily.

It Works
My only complaint is the sound is delayed. So if you don't turn the sound way down on the TV or what ever your using you will have an Eco effect.Otherwise it works well.
