Longer leashes often get in way of potty training. This was perfect.

The media could not be loaded.  Perfect length to keep her close. I like a solid heel while we are out and this keeps the handle in my hand and the dog where I want her.

The media could not be loaded.  I have a very active 4 1/2 y.o. Border Collie/mini Aussie mix and he pulls hard on the leash. Using a harness & this short leash has helped tremendously! The padded handle is super comfy to hold.

While training our two dogs to walk without so much pulling, we looked into short leashes to have more control over their movement. We have a Siberian Husky and an Australian Cattle Dog mix, and both of their weights are enough to send me following them wherever they pull rather than me being in control. I often got rope burns from leashes because I was trying to resist as much as I could. This leash has a lot of cushion and comfort and has allowed me to have more control. I use them in combination with harnesses to ensure that they are not choking on their leashes from a much shorter lead.It has also come in handy with leaving them on the harness while at a park that I let them roam around. I can still grab them with the leash if needed but also does not get in their way when they run and go exploring. The colors for the pink and the light blue were exactly as pictured.

Very nice, just what I was looking for to use with my service animal. I don't like having to bunch up a leash when we're out. This one is perfect distance with a little slack. It's exactly what we needed.

I trained my dog to walk off lead, in those instances when you need to control the dog due to other people's dogs or to make introduction to other pets, this gives you a lot of control up close.

Fits in my pocket as my dog is off lead most of the time but handy to clip on when the need for restraint is required

My dog is a huge Afghan Hound. He's nervous of people and children unless they are accompanied by a dog, then he's fine. I needed a really short lead, so I could walk with him close beside me. The lead was long and flexible enough to tie two knots. I hold the knot closest to his collar so he feels safe then if he wants to sniff something he has extra lead to let him get his head right to the ground. If he gets spooked he can leap unexpectedly forward and the extra play in the lead gives me a second to get a super tight hold and to brace myself against toppling over. The soft padding in the handle is a big help. I never hold it with my fingers, I slip it over my hand which means Jett can not get free because it's a close fit. I really love this lead, so much so I ordered a second one as a spare. GREAT PRODUCT!!!! Dianne.

This leash is surprisingly sturdy for the price.If you have a shorter dog, take note of the length - this is perfect for keeping my GSP close in crowded areas, but it's just a little too short to use on my GSP/Corgi mix, who is half the height.

My dog chews all his leashes. I bought a chain leash but he chewed the handle. This short leash is perfect as an attachment that I can take off when I need to tie him to a post when I run in for a coffee.

I LOVE this leash. It has been a miracle in training my puppy loose leash walking. I actually plan to use this all the time. It keeps her close, prevents extreme pulling and even just switching to this without other tools helped a lot. My shoulder thanks leash!
