5 minutes to install. Strong and effective. Used to replace factory plastic handles. Worth the money.

Bought these to replace a broken set of “no name” levers on a Specialized bicycle. I’ve previously used Avid brake levers on 2 other bicycles. One set is over 10 years old. Still going strong. The angles of the levers are just right. The finish holds up nicely. Super easy to install or replace broken or worn out brake levers with these. And, they’re never expensive but just as good operationally as some that are more expensive imho. 10/10

Avid is owned by SRAM since 2004, and designed and developed in the US. I chose these as a low cost build option and am not disappointed. They work well with the Shimano Tiagra flat bar road shifter I used for this build.

Used these on a flat bar conversion. They work great and seem to be pretty sturdy. They are not full size four finger levers. They are the shorty levers.

Really excellent brakes, comparable in quality to Shimano or Tektro. Worked great to update my crappy dept. store Schwinn.

Not a clue about the quality of these, as I sent them back, having not used them. Instead, I bought a new bike, but they seemed pretty decent in the box, and they were the same brand that was on the bike they were intended to replace, and those originals that were broken had served a good life, so it's fair to say these are pretty good also.

Great upgrade for your bike, it enhances the braking feeling quite a bit. Very well made. Note that the levers are quite short, meant to be pulled with two fingers.

Realizzate in materiale robusto, con verniciatura resistente, sono il tipo di leve del freno a due dita, ovvero più corte rispetto a quelle tradizionali e usate solitamente sulle MTB. Possono essere utilizzate su tutti i freni meccanici che utilizzano i cavi con terminazione a "barilotto" e imprimono una maggiore forza frenante riducendo il braccio della leva. Installate molto velocemente e provate subito senza problemi, non hanno un verso di montaggio ma io ho preferito avere la vite di fissaggio nella parte alta per rendere più veloce l'operazione di verifica del serraggio. Ottimo prodotto, lo consiglio.
