XLUX Solar Lights for Steps Decks Pathway Yard Stairs Fences, LED lamp, Outdoor Waterproof,Warm Light,12 Pack

Was looking for solar lights for my dock. Most are the blue-white and are painfully bright. Ran across these while searching on Amazon. Seemed good, always a bit wary when shopping on line ( one of the reasons I like Amazon so much) so I ordered 6 to check them out. I put them on my dock for a week to check that they all worked, to see how long they stayed on and for water resistance. After a week, I was convinced. I installed them on my dock pilings, 20 inches above the deck for a low light, comfortable illumination that is perfect for walking to and on the dock. After the second week, ordered 6 more to finish out my lighting project. Added a couple to a set of concrete stairs leading to the dock with an industrial grade 2 sided tape for a great look. My neighbor liked my lights so much, he ordered 24 and has completely lit his deck and walkway. Again, these will not light up a large area, they are designed for a warm white subtle light without being intrusive or disturbing the neighbors.

I kept falling down the last step of my porch stairs at night. These are just enough light not too bright, but light the way. They look nice in the day as well. I put them on with strong indoor outdoor Velcro (I didn’t drill holes). I have had them 3 weeks now, they get full sun almost all day. It gets dark around 6pm and I’ve only stayed up until 2am and they are still on, so not sure how long they stay on. That’s at least 8 hours. Love them!! No problems yet.

Clean looking easy to install. Doesn’t put out a huge amount of light. It’s just perfect to make the right amount of cozy lighting solid structure

One of the 6 lights was DOA and wouldn't come on. Another of the lights would come on for a second, then go dark. I fiddled with it for a while and it finally came on for a longer period, but it won't stay on for more than a few seconds. So two of the four lights are unusable.The four that do work are what I expected. Bright enough to light a walkway at night, and they stay on for several hours after dark. Wish they all worked, but that's the chance that you take. If even 5 of them worked I'd give them another star.UPDATE: After 6 months three of the six lights have now failed completely and a fourth lights, but very dimly. I've subtracted another star for the poor longevity of these fixtures. Disappointing to say the least.

I have to admit that these solar powered lights put out the right amount of ambient light. I went with the warmer light for lighting the interior portion of my deck. Each light covers about a 5 ft. radius from where it was installed. Each battery inside lasts for about 8-9 hours. I am very pleased with this purchase and will purchase more for my front stairs in the coming future.

Great warm and bright lights that lasted 5+ hours after dusk! I think charging them in direct sunlight for the first charge made a difference; I left one positioned on my porch step to see what it looked like during the day (this area gets sun but not the direct sun that I left the others in for first charge) and that one was dimmer than the other five. It also didn’t seem like it would stay lit for the same duration. Either way, very happy with this purchase and it exceeded my expectations. I used outdoor mounting tape vs drilling, for ease. Time will tell re: duration and brightness of the lights, I’ll update my review accordingly.

I was looking for a light in the backyard.We just moved in and didn't have any light in the backyard and it gets pitch dark at night.When I let my dog out, I can't even find him.These lights are sleek, and stainless silver looks cool.I don't like those glaring while LED lights, so it took me a while to find them. They have the warm orange glow to them. Installation was insanely easy. It came with the plastic anchors, but I didn't use them.It definitely adds some mood in the yard, though they don't lit up the entire yard for sure.Overall, they are what I was looking for and I am very happy with my purchase.

Purchase the lights to provide light on deck stairs for aging Labrador Retriever that has difficulty seeing at night. Now he can go up/down the stairs just like he would in the daylight. All six of the solar lights are still on the next morning, 10 hours after they came on previous evening. Definitely recommend this for anyone needing extra light on stairs.

The media could not be loaded.    These are VERY impressive!I didn't realise there's also a rechargeable battery with each light.Good quality too unlike my last cheap set.I decided to put these on my fence as well as my driveway, well, not actually on the driveway but on the house which is beside the driveway. Check out the video! (The quality of the video maybe reduced due to Amazon compressing it.).These lights also last a good few hours. It helps that my back garden faces the sun all day.If you're after a nice modern style to your back garden, whether these lights are for your wall or fence, then i'd very highly recommend these!!TIP: Don't install them as soon as you get them. Leave them in the daylight for 6-8 hours to really charge up! Then you will see if there's any faulty lights before drilling them to your wall or/and fence.

I bought these lights as a present for a neighbour with new patio decking, and installed them myself.This is a 6-month review, as they're an outdoor product so it's worth knowing how they'll survive.The UK had a very wet late spring and early summer this year, and these lights were outside in all of that. They are all still performing perfectly, and there is no sign of any water ingress.They were very easy to install on wooden decking; one tip from me is to buy and use some high-quality screws, (I used no.6 size pozidriv, as the heads of no.6 screws fit in the rear slots perfectly) which will make installation easier and quicker.Before installing, I dismantled one of the lights to see how it was constructed, and whether the battery could be changed in the future when the daily charge-discharge cycle has reduced its effectiveness.I'm pleased to say the lights have a silicone gasket to seal them from water ingress (which I replaced carefully!), and also that they take standard AA rechargeable batteries, so when the batteries do eventually need replacement, it will be easy to do.These lights are good looking and made from strong pressed steel. I mounted them on the uprights of steps on decking, and they have survived being stepped on and knocked off their mounting screws, as well as the English summer, with no sign of damage.I definitely recommend considering these if you are looking for some good quality outdoor solar lighting.Please consider leaving a helpful vote if my review has been useful!

Unfortunately, as one or two other reviewers have mentioned, these won’t last very long. I bought a pack of 6 in July last year and they lasted about 6 months. This was nothing to do with lack of sunlight in the winter either - I left them in place through to this month (June 2021) thinking they may rekindle with the onset of longer daylight hours and more sun, but sadly not. Tried switching them off for a while and then back on to auto mode but they’re dead. Out of the box they’re great, illuminated straight away, and whilst they were working they did a good job of providing a bit of soft safety lighting for the steps onto our patio. I suppose, at the end of the day they work out to only just over £4 each so could replace them every time they expire. But do I really want to be doing that? It proves you get what you pay for, so I’ll now be looking for something more durable even if it’s more costly.

Bought 2 packs of these last summer, worked great, nice warm glow, once the winter came they didn't receive enough light to get any decent charge, I took them down & put them away, so they weren't out all winter in the rain & snow, got them out this year, left them to charge in the sun & half of them barely give off any light, the others aren't much better, they're literally a one summer use, very disappointing

Arrived within a couple of days . Ordered 2 boxes. We have attached these to sleepers . The screws were not suitable to go into wood they snapped , so used panel pins which did the job. These are not too bright, but bright enough for me to see to the bottom of the garden. Really happy with them so far . I am planning on purchasing some more .
