I saw improvement after just a week but as the doctor said - it may take 2-3 months for full effect. Pay attention to the instructions to peel off both sides before adhering. And wash once a week with soapy water. I bought the larger size and then cut it into scar size patches so I’d have several making it a better value as it is expensive - but definitely well worth it.

This product cost over $60 and it came with the box ripped open and damaged. When I looked at options to return or replace, I was given the message it can’t be returned. I had two surgeries in the last couple of months, and I was hoping to use this to help me heal but now I'm just out the money!

These are very expensive but Amazon was the only place I could find a piece of silicon large enough to wear on a bad burn. They don't last long with their stickiness and you really have to wash it every day instead of the once a week it suggests. It is good you cut to fit what you need because it will cause irritation to your undamaged skin if you wear it for long. I wear it 12 hours a night as suggested and it helps.

I don't know why/how this silicone sheet works, but it does. After months of using scar creams, I finally just threw down the $50 for the silicone sheet -- and it really worked! In a few months, the hideous, raised, keloid scar had become flatter and lighter.A note: this sheet can lose its stickiness quickly. It maintains its integrity best if you slap it over your scar, and then cover that with a large bandaid-- or, even better, that Nexcare Tegaderm transparent sheeting. Really, this second step is essential in keeping the silicone sheeting edges from slowly sucking up lint off your clothing, which ruins them.

I'm on my 2nd week using this and it has major improvements on my scars despite how sticky this is, it didn't compromise my comfort or left any sticky residues on skin.

I like this sheet because it's thicker than the other product that I was using (Mepiform). It doesn't wrinkle up like Mepiform and the glue lasted longer as well. The other thing I like about it is it's clear and you can actually see your scar. However, since it's much thicker than Mepiform (which suppose to be breathable) this one is not and probably not a good idea to wear it for days at a time...need to give your scar a short break from time to time.
