Omni wool socks were not first quality.
When I received the socks they were listed as "slightly imperfect." That means they were not first quality.I will not buy these again from Amazon.

Simply The Best
I've had a lot of wool socks over the years, none as good as OMNIWOOL. There is just something special about them, you've got to try some on to find out. Then you try them you'll discover that the stretchyness in the arch support really works, and it has a cushion that sticks around all day and really relieves fatigue when working on concrete all day. While other socks get more compacted throughout the day, these remain thick, which really helps to keep the blisters away. They also are a lot better built then comparable socks, and there aren't any little nubbins on the inside of the toe box. They do not pil like Kirkland socks, which is very valuable when working with woodchip (like when running a chainsaw) or metal shavings (in the machine shop). Only complain is that they are a little tight in the ankle, but that may just be me.TLDR, if you only have $20 to buy socks, get two packs of costco ones. If you already have an arsenal of wool socks, and you are slowly replacing them as they wear out, don't get anything other than these.

Super nice for snow time
Wear these for hiking in the snow. Keeps me warm where other socks that were heavy didn't. Wool is the key. Washed them & they stayed without shrinkage.

Best sock ever
Best socks ever. When you're in boots and on your feet a lot, socks are super important. My boyfriend got 3 pr as a gift and I stole a pair. They quickly became my favorite fall/winter/spring sock. For as much as I wore that one pair, they held up great. I had no idea where they had been purchased and the bottom of the sock says "OMNIWOOL", so I searched online to find them. Immediately ordered 3 pair. They fit as I expected them to, which is probably a little smaller than what you might expect. Will buy again and highly recommend. Bonus: made in USA.

Best work socks!
I had purchased this brand of socks a while back, perhaps a few years- for my son. He called and asked me what they were and that they were the only socks that would hold up to his line of work and foot characteristics. (He had tried some high-dollar socks and they fell apart after wearing them six times. He is an industrial electrician and has sweaty feet.) He was thrilled when I gifted him six pair. I too have these socks and can vouch for his enthusiasm. I wear them year round, they keep their shape and don't stretch out.

better, but not better known than comparable socks
These actually are better than all the better known brands' comparable socks. Better than Smartwool (in which the smart wool wool tends to wear out quickly, is it okay to say smart wool wool?), better by a lot than DarnTuff (which must be called that because they are darn tuff on your feet). More comfortable, easy to get on, more durable and warmer. What can go wrong? If you go on YouTube you will find some people have posted short videos stating their personal views that OmniWool socks beat out the competition. This is good entertainment value in of itself and I highly recommend this. It is hard to disagree with people that choose to post 3 minute videos detailing their personal sock choices. I know I wont fault them.

These socks are feet savers!
Part of my job entails me hiking up very steep hills off of the trail carrying upwards of 50 lbs worth of equipment. I have to do this wearing very uncomfortable leather books that just shred up your feet with blisters and nasty hot spots.Enter Omniwool. These socks have real extra padding on the heel and front toe, which are the areas most human beings are prone to getting them. This is an enormous benefit which brings the fun back in hiking with these boots. These socks are in the medium weight range and feel very comfortable and plush on your feet. You definitely won't regret buying yourself a set.
