Considering the patch is simply pre-cut Kinesiology tape at 4 times the price, I will not buy this product again. It took less than 4 days for the patch to pinch the adhesive on a Dexcom sensor and there is no way to replace the Simpatch without ripping out the sensor. These sensors are $75 each and designed to last at least a week. I have been using generic Kinesiology tape for years and if one piece comes loose or starts to peel, it can be replaced to re-secure the site.Perhaps it works for people who never sweat, but my first try was not successful and I won't be using the remaining as it is not work the risk losing a Dexom sensor and transmitter. Regarding price, your product sells for $17.75 for 20 patches or 90 cents a piece. A 16'4' roll of Mueller Kinesiology tape sells for $12.99 ($8 with Prime) and can be cut into 65 pieces of similar size coming in at less than 20 (12) cents a piece.

This product is wonderful!! I waited to post a review until after I had a couple of test runs. I was able to wear my dexcom for up to 3 weeks!! I also let a friend try one. She had just applied her dexcom & the adhesive supplied w/it was already peeling off. We were @ a camp & it was HOT!! I showed her how to use it (very easy to use!) & she was able to keep her dexcom in place the entire week! The temps were in the high 80's w/very high humidity. She went swimming & also participated in multiple outdoor activities which made her sweat a lot. The simpatch never let go!! She & I both have very sensitive skin. Neither of us had any issues w/irritation from using this. I will DEFINITELY be purchasing this again & highly recommend it!!

Not a single frayed edge after a day in the pool
Great adhesive and kept my sons Dex intact after a full day of swimming when everything else we've tried hasn't.

Great Product!
To James Duffy, founder of Simpatch, our son Vincenzo is a 4 year old type 1 diabetic. He recently started using the Dexcom Glucose Meter. We have to trim the simpatch to fit around the site, but it works great. Vin goes swimming once a week and gets a bath every night and the Simpatch is still intact a week later! He also loves the color blue. We let him pick the color to help create a smooth process when we have to remove the sensor each week and replace it to a different location on his tummy. We use adhesive remover pads to help get the Simpatch off and it comes off smoothly. Great product! I would recommend it to others! We hope to see more colors and maybe even fun designs. Thank you, Nick and Lisa Campbell

Didn't work for my sensitive skin
Let me preface this by saying I have adhesive sensitive skin- so it really wasn't a surprise that these didn't work for me on that front.I was hoping that I wouldn't react to these but I do- pretty severely. After they are on for a couple of hours I have a big welt that ultimately shortens the time I can have the sensor in that site. Boo. I have heard you can use a skin prep to help with the reactions- so may try that. I will keep them for emergencies- my DEX started popping out at work- and I was glad to have a quick fix to get me thru the day.So sadly these didn't work for me. I also inadvertently ordered blue- which really shows thru clothes. My bad.My Experience:Stuck really well- no peeling issues- as a female- these are a bit big for some spots and I had to cut them down a bit. For an adult male I imagine this isn't a problem.Very thick material- which for me was uncomfortable if I had it in a spot wear the skin folded ie abdomen. I also found that they trap enough water between the simpatch material and the DEX material to take a long time to dry after showering- and causing the DEX to release from my skin. ( I put these on top of DEX not under as I have seen others do)I found that tearing across the perforated line (not picking or trying to peel) the adhesive backing offer made removal of the backing paper much easier- and only peeling off one half before applying made it less likely to ruin the whole thing- especially when applying in a tricky hard to reach spot.Customer Service sent me an email after my order: I responded letting them know I was having problems- and would likely have to return. They offered to replace at no cost- or I could return at no cost. I appreciated their speedy and courteous attempt at resolution.Good luck - I hope these work for you!

A great product for the agile diabetic
I like this product and have had no problems with sensitivity to my skin, or had problems with it adhering. Usually, I will have problems with one or the other with an adhesive, but I haven't with this one.The re-closable package is nice. I don't recall any of my other diabetes supplies ever coming in a sealable package and I've always had to organize them in different containers or Ziploc bags. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cut of this patch and it's packaging. Unlike some of the other patches you can buy, these appear to be more of a professional quality, sterile, and not homemade. If I could suggest anything to improve this product, it would be to have an easier way to grip and pull the backing from the patch. It's not too difficult to detach as it is, but if you have difficulty seeing, have no nails, or have stubby thumbs, it can be.I use these patches to cover not only my cgm, but my pump infusion site as well. I am a nurse and I tend to have a mishap at least once a day that knocks or pulls at one of these sites and these patches have worked better than any other bandage, covering, or liquid adhesive I've used before. The longest one stayed intact was a week, and that was with daily showering.

Strong Adhesive Removed Skim
I read a lot of reviews of this product before buying it and decided it was safe to use.I used only one of these patches. I had difficulty applying it (whoever heard of having to carefully separate a perforated backing on a bandage-type product!); it covered part of the sensor housing on one side. But my trouble came after I removed it to replace my expired sensor. It removed skin in several places which then became inflamed. I am still treating the wound after a week.I highly recommend NOT buying this product.

So amazing!!! - Worth the money!
This product made an amazing difference during our three week tropical holiday (and we swam almost every day). It minimised the stress of losing my fiance's precious diabetes adjuncts (we purchased both the Dexcom G5 and Omnipod versions). He had no struggles with removal when the time came, either. Highly recommend!!

These don’t fit the G5
I bought these to use for the Dexcom G5 sensors and transmitters and they don’t fit properly around them. I’m going to have to cut the center whole to make it fit overtop.

Sticking
They don’t stick as well as my other pump patches, I have to use medical tape to keep them on.
