Seems to be working just fine after 3+ months of use
Seems to be working just fine after 3+ months of use. The installation was extremely simple and any DIY could do it in a few minutes. (A plumber quoted me $120 to come and replace it-I realize that the plumber was including a service call.) The price was great through Amazon/Softenerparts. I purchased it for just under $20 which included the shipping and installed it myself. It had just a slightly different appearance than the original part.

Was very easy to install
I was close to spending about $1000 for a new water softener (price installed). Saw that the timer on the old one was not moving. Tried this part and it is working perfectly. Was very easy to install. 5 minutes. So, if you have the Fleck 5600 and it stops working, look at the time setting and see if it is correct and keeping time. If not, this is worth a try.

Exact replacement for failed part in 8 year old water softener
Water softener died recently and I thought the worst - that I'd have to purchase a new one at $500+. Not so, after examining mine a little more closely I realized the timer-motor stopped spinning. Did a Google search and found this one for so cheap, what a relief that a part with a cost of less than $20 was all that is required to repair. Installation is a cinch too - just two screws and two wire nuts to deal with. Replaced the faulty part tonight outside using a flashlight and literally the entire replacement process took 5 minutes. So easy!

Much easier than manual backwashing...
Very good price! Fit perfectly, and surprisingly has a metal drive gear unlike the plastic one it's replacing. The local water conditioning company I deal with wanted $100 to replace this motor. All is working well now.Just a caution for DYI's there is a metal pin that rests in a hole in the housing and fits in the center of the drive gear to prevent it from pushing away from the other gear it turns. Without this pin in place the control valve knob will skip when under pressure during the cycling process.

Worked perfect, easy install
This motor works perfect in my old Model 5600 acid neutralizer. Very easy install. It is an exact replacement for old part number 13400. Plus this price is less than half of several others I found but its the same motor.

Works great
I ordered this motor for my Water Right water softner. I went to Fleet Farm where the softner was purchased and they do not carry parts. I was told to call Water Right. I called Water Right and they wanted $79 for the motor and this included the shipping. I told them I could get it for $27 online and I would go that route. I must say that this motor is even more quiet than the other motor.

It works
I found I really didn't need this part but replaced it anyway because the price was right. It's still working. I kept the old one though just in case.
