Xiaomi Mi TV Box S - Streaming Player, Black

Been using a Kindle fire stick and Roku stick for awhile but just found the firestick to be slow and sluggish and although the Roku works well it's very bland so when it broke I took a risk on the mi mini s Box and so far it's been fantastic, great remote, fast with plenty of features. This version of the player comes with an EU plug but for the financial savings over other listings it was definitely worth the £3 an adapter costs. Highly recommend the Mi box's

It's a decent box when you get it going BUT 3 issues to be aware of.1) The item does not come with a UK Power Supply or even an Adaptor so you will have to go an buy one of them. Amazon were really poor in trying to help me and only offered a return of the product.2) Remote doesn't come with any batteries so you have to buy yourself a couple of AAA batteries.3) Unit doesn't have an ethernet port so make sure your on top of a wifi access point for streaming.Decent box apart from that.

I tryed before buy on my friend’s house. Now i have this product and really easy to use ,good picture quality…. Remote is working very well i guess it has bluetooth technology…so good

If they could work out all the bugs in this box I would definitely recommend this over a nvidia shield (I don't play online games) as I fine I can do most everything I do on the Shield but it the bugs are there and seem to be getting worst as time goes by.1. Bluetooth has been a problem from the beginning, it can be troublesome to pairand connect different Bluetooth devices and when connected and you turn off the box and turn it back on then try to reconnect the previously paired devices it will not connect so you have to unpair it and go through the pairing process all over again and since this recent system update (for me this update happened on 28th November 2021) the problem has got worst, connected devices now have interference almost when you cover a Bluetooth device and it interferes with the connection and it does this constantly, I thought I might be a particular pair of earbuds so I tried 5 different makes of earbuds and headphones but it still happens so now I don't bother.2. General operation of the box can be buggy at times, if you press a command on the remote it can take a couple seconds to respond which can become very irritating.3. Sound is a problem, sometimes when you increase the volume it doesn't increase straight away so you increase it more so when it increase its alot louder than you intended.4. Not all Apps will work and this is the same for third party streaming apps but the ones that do work fine, netflix, prime video and all other major streaming services work fine.I still use it on a daily basis with sound coming through tv or a surround sound system and that all works fine so I hope that the other problems will be sorted out with a update.

Can pretty much turn an old tv into new, with the apps you get on it. Would recommend.

Great service. Just set up but so far very happy with this.

Came with non UK plug, not a big deal, compare to fire stick - colours are washed out, no HDR support or at least I couldn't find, not all apps working, no UK region, so can't work or can't find on Google play store. Not sure if it is just mine, but sometimes hard to switch it on as it keeps restarting in loop, firestick for me much better than this device
