Quality product
Absorbs into porous concrete around in-ground pool in a flash as intended so, coverage is a bit tricky to estimate for each job. That said, it leaves a proper, pleasing matte finish. Should provide a long lasting benefit for years to come. A bit pricey but is a professional grade product.

Nice and Easy
We were able to put 2 coats on about 1000ft2 without any issues. The first coat absorbed very quickly and required a little over 2.5 gallons. The next evening we were able to add the 2nd coat and it stayed wet longer so I was able to use a little less and get full coverage on the 2nd coat. The sealer does have a strong odor so we wore masks and also gloves in case it spilled. We used a Chapin sprayer (from Amazon) and I rinsed it out after the 1st coat so we were easily able to use it for the 2nd coat and after rinsing it again it looks like we will get to use it in the future. The patio looks great and the sealer seems to work very well. Update: We were finally able to see the patio (Oklahoma flagstone) in good light and the sealer has made the patio colors more even - looks better now. It did rain this morning and the water beaded up nicely.

Fast Delivery and Great Product Will BUY again and again
From my experience....do not go to the big box stores and waste your time and finances! I went to both Depot and Lowes and they had no sealer for concrete driveway. Wasted so much time at Depot being sent to 5 different aisles until finally I made an employee look up what I was looking for and they had discontinued it!. I checked reviews and this is the one to get best in class! O ordered a five gallon container once I discovered I needed 4 gallons minimum. Put the first coat on and doing the second in 3 more hours. I can return so many tools I bought to the sotre - it was so simple. The container was delivered to my DOOR, FREE SHIPPING and I did not have to carry it to the car and such if I had bought it local! The supplier is great and the product looks to be great - I can add an update once it rains but it went on great with a sprayer and a roller and for corners a paintbrush. I saved a good $1000 doing this project because the local guys would only powerwash and are so pandemic delayed busy they REFUSED to seal so I did everything myself and will again and may just advertise to do the job in my business for others. I am going to order another 5 gallons and do my sidewalks and border. Picture from last week is drive to be done after the construction repairs on the porc.

SX5000 and AR350 work well together !!!!!!!
Just finished putting SX5000 and AR350 on a 3 month old freshly poured driveway with no traffic allowed on it. I first turned off all the automatic sprinklers that went on once a day for the 3 mo. old grass and flower beds. Don't forget to do this if you want to be successful in your application. I applied the SX5000 with a sprayer, make that 3 sprayers @ 20 bucks each, this product is petroleum based and eats up normal garden sprayers after 3-4 tanks. I applied 15 gals. for approx. a 2000 sq. ft. driveway, it went on nicely and covered quite well. I waited til the next day and did some water tests and the surface repelled the water nicely on about 90 % of the driveway. The temp. by the way, was in the low 90 deg. for all the days I applied all the Foundation Armor product. I waited a day so that all the water could dry then applied the AR350 with a roller to get really good coverage, and to my surprise it only took 10 gals. to cover the same area with excellent full coverage, I guess it didn't need to penetrate as much since I had the SX5000 applied to seal the concrete. I will now go over it a second time and wait a full day before I turn back on my sprinklers, I expect to only use 6-7 gals for the second coat, the results so far look amazing, as far as longevity of the product I can only wait and see. I expect it to preform as good or better than product I have used in the past. Good product for the price at about $45 a gal.

Amazing Product
We just installed 2 cinder block retaining walls and were having an issue with water-weeping from behind and it bringing red soil through the mortar lines. I completely cleaned the wall with pressure washing and then muriatic acid to get it back to it's original state. We then applied 2 coats of this sealer and were absolutely amazed post-rain. The product dries 100% clear. We are are VERY particular about our home and small details and I assure you, it's clear as can be without a sheen, etc. I applied it by brushing all the corners and then each and every grout/mortar line. Immediately after, I rolled the rest on using a paint roller and pan. I will say, it takes a little skill using the roller without wasting any but it was the easiest way to put large quantities on. I tried the pump up sprayer and it lasted about 4 minutes before it killed my cheap sprayer. We had 480 sqft and it took exactly 10 gallons for 1 heavy coat and one light, second coat. I only took about an hour per coat. I'm sure those that aren't applying to a vertical surface can move a little faster. Only using this product moving forward! My pictures show right after application and then right after a rain. In the one with the rain, you can tell the wall remains completely dry!

I’m impressed
I was skeptical about this product as it was the consistency of water and it just soaked into the concrete and looked like it did nothing when I was applying it. The concrete looked a little less chalky than prior to application but otherwise there was no change to the appearance. (I bought the house last year so I have no idea when the last time it was sealed was or what was used in the past, but the concrete had a chalky haze on it after power washing) I really thought I just wasted a bunch of money as surely I would see some sort of change! The instructions say to spray it on but we were working around an in ground pool and were afraid of overspray so we used rollers. The following day I spilled some water on the concrete and it beaded off! The only areas it didn’t do so hot are around the anchors for the winter cover (they had been jammed up so I cleaned them and coated them in silicone and some got on the concrete ). This is a user error as I probably needed to prep those areas more aggressively with a heavy degreaser. Just a warning that the results might not be so great on concrete that’s got oil on it without some major preparation. The instructions also say that you should spray 2 coats wet on wet, and at the end we were running low and didn’t double coat everywhere. (This is likely because it was a large area and also the rollers waste a lot) so we were not really satisfied with our application and we are so happy with how well the one coat worked that we are discussing re applying in the fall just to make sure everything is covered properly, as we are confident that it’s a good product after seeing it work it’s magic! As far as longevity, it says it’s good for 8-10 years but I’m still on week one so I obviously can’t contribute to any info here. So far I’m very happy with it and if it lasts just 2 seasons I still feel it’s worth the investment!

Easy application, longer lasting
Usually I get paints and solvents from Home Depot and Lowes, however their sealers were antiquated products from the 1930s and require almost yearly application and claim good for "wood, concrete, brick" which means its sort of ok at everything, but not really excellent at any one type of application such as concrete. I don't want to apply bi-yearly or yearly, I want to do this once a decade with Armor SX5000. Delivery is a little slow as its ground delivery and a chemical, so be prepared for 5-7 day delivery even if the shipping vendor claims 3-5 days, I think shippers do hazardous deliveries less frequently than packages. I do like its application, its appearance did not change much in dry conditions, which is fine, I don't want glossy concrete nor do I want color changes. Im going to do light coats every 3 months until I use up the remaining portion of the initial 5 gallons, so far so good!
