I washed this before using and sure enough a lot of colour came out, once the water ran clear, then no problem. Good as a mala, the texture makes it easier to handle. I would say this is good value.

Authentic?
For a start there are only 107 seeds. They are a horrible orange colour. I think their a waste of money. Really disappointed. Bought different ones with authenticity certificate. They feel so different.also one of the beads was broken. You can't wear a broken radrushka mala.
