Capsules cost twice as much and this is absorbed much faster. Definitely works best when shaken up in a bottle rather than stirring.

I'm an adult engineering major, and I spend countless hours at my desk working on equations for school. Generally, coffee is my favorite boost for studying, but I have found that Alphabrain instant to have benefit both with and without caffiene. This is my 3rd box, and while I was skeptical of the placebo effect at first, I have found that it helps significantly with focus and with creativity. I find that although my digestion is very fast, that I tend to notice effects after a couple of hours.I have had good effects taking it before bed. I had lucid dreaming, which is what effect I had heard reported about on a Podcast where the speaker drank some Alphabrain before bed. There is no stimulant effect per se, you can drink it before bed and sleep fine. And I had improved focus and moood in the morning as well.I have tried the peach flavor, and this god-awful lime-coconut. Both were gross. And I am not one to generally complain about taste, I have been drinking protein shakes that taste like crap for years. But these flavors are sooooo BAD. I generally add a packet to an ounce of water and slam it.I looked into the pill form of Alphabrain, but found that the active ingredient was a much smaller amount in the pills. So I am going to stick to the instant, and I will try the lemon next go round.

Taste great. I wish it actually gave me the get up and go that I expected from it. I truly see no different and I do not drink caffeine on the regular at all. I maybe have it once a week so no dating I'm just too used to caffeine. I drink water 99% of my entire week. I had super high hopes for this product..However I was disappointed.

I really do like Onnit's products. I had previously purchased the capsule form of Alpha Brain, but during the current outbreak of "the virus", stock seems to have disappeared. That being said, I stumbled upon the powdered version and decided to give'er the old go ahead.I still do enjoy the product overall, but it feels somewhat less potent. I don't quite get the 'surge' of focus, but I'm attributing that to my practice of drinking this over an hour or two rather than just chilling down some capsules. The only real issue I have is the flavor.Flavor is an opinion, so I don't want to ultimately weight it heavily in my overall score. That being said, MAN ALIVE, is this stuff sweeter than I expected. I find myself continually diluting the flavor while drinking the mixture through out the morning.Also, I feel like it may have given me the poops... Whatever that's worth to you.

I have been taking the lavender elderberry flavored New Mood drink mix & it has been instantly effective! While I have only been taking this one for a few days, it has all the focus supplements included in one. I do feel more attentive & eager when I’m completing tasks & working on creative projects!As far as the taste goes, it tastes like coconut laCroix & if you dipped sour gummies in it. I wanted this to make a piña colada concoction for the morning.The price is on the “higher” end, but I think it’s fair for all the ingredients it has.

Once it used alpha brain for about 4 days, I started to jive a change in my ability to focus and say on task. It was subtle at first-it just kind of got me that I was still on task. No jitters. No crash. It took a fews days to really get into my system, but it has been a game changer.

Alpha Brain is my end all be all for helping my brain stay up to speed and fire at all cylinders in a super fast paced creative environment. Without the crash of coffee and other terrible side effects from caffeine.
