They're alright
Honestly not as bright as I was expecting per reviews and packaging. The Philips fog lights I bought are actually a little brighter than these. That said, they're still light the way and cast a lovely white light down the road. They're installed in a 3rd gen Tacoma with projector lens.

Absolutely worth it!
These lights are a huge upgrade. One of my bulbs burnt out so I decided to finally make the switch to LED. They really aren't kidding when they say the cutoff is sharp and where it should be. The color is great and they are very bright without getting you high beamed all the time. Only time will tell on longevity but they get a 5 star for now. I'll probably upgrade my high beams to their top bulb at some point but right now both of my high beams work and I don't know for sure if those will work for a DRL, so I'll wait before dropping the $100.

Too big to fit in the housing
You can see the size of the OEM H7 vs the Hikari's. These are fairly large and fitting these into the housing is like pulling teeth. The good thing is that the H7 bulbs go straight in and lock using the single tab so somehow, managed to plug these in.Getting the accompanying error eliminators connected and pushed into the housing along with the OEM plug was very hard and we eventually did get everything in, into the tight space and were able to seal the headlightsThe bulbs automatically lock into a 3 and 9 O'clock position with the H7 connector but we did ensure it was the correct position by looking from the outside and further rotating theseThe lights are fairly bright but longevity due to heat is a real concern, particularly with everything packed in that tight space. Will watch it closely for the next few days and test further. Will update the review over time. If you are considering these, factor their size and the available space behind the headlights.

Hikari Philips LumiLEDs 12,000 lumen Headlight Conversion.
OK, bare with me...I'm not a paid reviewer and I have no affiliation with Amazon or Hikari.I have changed my halogen headlights in the past, but I haven't done much more on a car that an oil change. A friend got some LED headlights and suggested that we put some in my Toyota truck.I purchased the Hikari Cree LEDs a couple of weeks ago and after a lot of fussing, we got them (H4 - 9003s) into my Toyota Tacoma . They cost around $70 and were advertised as around 9,600 Lumens. I noticed that LED housing was long and there was only the one large Cree LED for the low beam and a second one for the high beam. The instructions were very poor. I had to cut back the rubber boot around the LED headlight to get it to fit. I had to wiggle and force in into place over the housing. I had to invert the boot and fold it to try to wiggle the long LED housing into the mounting plate in the headlight assembly. I then had to try to close the spring.I ended up pulling parts of my front grill off, pulling the wiper fluid container and ultimately pulling out the whole front left head light. I broke the spring that holds the headlight in place and then the Hikari base that holds the light in place (cheap plastic mounted to a metal bracket. I was able to drill out the headlight and mount the spring back in place with a couple of screws. Ultimately, when I turned on the lights, I was not happy with the light pattern on my garage (I used painter's tape to mark the horizontal and vertical center to compare the old headlights and the Hikari patterns). The pattern was scattered and when parked only 10' from the garage door, the pattern fell about 1' higher with the Hikari. This lead me to believe that the pattern would be much higher at a distance and hence, in other driver's eyes. They were brighter, but I sent them back.Fast forward a week and I found a new set of Hikari H4's using the brand new Philips Lumileds. There were only 5 reviews; however, the photos showed three LEDs for the low and an additional three LEDs for the high beam. They claimed higher Lumens (by around 2,400). They also showed a "cup", as on a normal headlight of my type. I paid around $90.The LEDs came in a white Hikari box. The LEDs were much shorter - about the same length as a normal headlight, in fact. I compared the halogen headlight with the Hikari. They were actually about the same length. There was a "cup" around the low beam, like on my halogen light. The metal housing seemed more heavy duty/better metal and there was a "cup" around the three low beam LEDs on both sides. The fan area was actually a little bigger and heavier, too. The driver housing was heavier and there was a nicely wrapped cable past this. It felt like a much higher quality conversion kit.I learned a few things from the first debacle. The first trick (which was poorly explained in their manual) was that you hold the LED and turn the mount 180 degrees to remove the LED housing from the metal/plastic headlight mounting bracket. You should put the mounting bracket into the headlight housing and fasten the spring to hold it in place. There are three points of contact on the mounting bracket and you need to note which two are at the bottom. You put the rubber boot over the top of the LED and slide it into place. You slide the LED housing into the mounting bracket and turn it 180 degrees to lock it into the headlight housing. I did this and attached the cable into the electrical connector that the halogen headlight used to have attached. I snap-tied the driver to another wire to keep it from flopping around. It took less than 5 minutes on the driver's side headlight the second time. About an extra 5 minutes on the passenger side. After I installed the driver's side headlight, I turned on the headlights to check the pattern of the Hikari Lumiled LED vs. the halogen one. I found that it was actually slightly lower that my halogen headlight, with a crisp cutoff on low beam. It was a MUCH better pattern than the Hikari Cree LEDs. It also appeared to be a brighter and crisper light pattern. When I put it on high beams, the light was more widely scattered and brighter yet.I have driven around in the daytime and the headlights will light up a reflective stop sign from 100 yards. At night, I noticed that the Hikari's are about twice as bright as the aftermarket halogen headlights that they replaced. I like the 6,500 k color better than the halogen headlights, which were around 5,000 k. There is a much better low beam cutoff than either of the other lights I have tried. I have not been flashed by oncoming cars.If I could subtract a half a star for the lousy instructions (which were the exact same ones as included in the Cree LED box. They were even marked as "old" instructions), I would do so. I'm happy with them after a week; however, only time will tell how long they will actually hold up to real world driving.

HIKARI ULTRA 9003 H4 vs. TECHMAX Mini 9003 H4 - REVIEW W/ UPDATES
The media could not be loaded. DATE OF REVIEW; December 17, 2018INSTALLED IN; 1999 Toyota Camry XLE (car has 2 reflector headlights only)VIDEO; Hikari Ultras aimed a bit too low, but still okay. No video of Techmax... sorry!UPDATE 5/13/22- Astonishingly, both Hikari bulbs I installed in my car are as good as the day I bought them (1,243 days ago). I don't think I've ever purchased an Asian-made product that has lasted so long and been this reliable. AN EXCELLENT LED LIGHT BULB@@@HIKARI UPDATE 12/31/2021- The Hikari bulbs are both doing great after about 3 years of daily use. No fan or bulb issues to report from either bulb. Hikari is a VERY respectable bulb company in my book.SUMMARY FIRST; I'm keeping the Hikaris and sending back the Techmax, but I must say the Techmax had a better cutoff line and wash shape at 25ft in front on my vehicle from my single headlight housings. Furthermore, the Techmax needed no re-aiming of the housings whereas the Hikaris are too low and need a slight readjustment. It was a hard decision.I first saw both of these LEDs on a YouToob video dated 11/12/2018 by BULBFACTS which seems to have impartial reviews. Who knows if this is actually true, but BULB FACTS doesn't seem to be hocking only one manufacturer or leading anyone anywhere, so??? Anyway, the reviewer says the Hikari and Techmax are the two leading Amazon LEDs at the moment. I have to agree that these two are MUCH better than the OPT 7 LED bulbs I purchased on Amazon in 2016 for my previous car. The beam pattern and brightness are definitely but up a bit since 2016.SO WHY DID I KEEP THE HIKARIS? Well.... because they are a bit brighter and I'm old. I can't see like I did just a few years ago, so I need all the light I can get on the road. Plus, I do a lot of 3AM highway driving where deer, turtles, moose and dogs can jump out from anywhere, so again... I need to see well at night. I think when I adjust the Hikaris cutoff up at 25ft. they will be fine.Oh, I will also say that both the of these bulbs have louder fan noise than the OPT 7 bulbs I used to have. Not sure if that means anything.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------RE-REVIEW DATE- 12/18/2018REVIEWING- TECHMAX Mini H4 LED HeadlampsVEHICLE- 1999 Toyota Camry XLE with 2 reflector headlightsSUMMARY- I actually returned the Techmax LED headlamps to Amazon and kept the Hikari Ultras in my car. The Hikari Ultras are only a 4 star LED headlamp in my book, but the TechMax were a 4.5 star bulb.REVIEW; Have you ever been on the fence about something, and no matter which way you went, it's a lose / lose? Well, that's how I felt about these TechMax Mini H4 LEDs. If I had kept them, I would kick myself because that meant returning the Hikaris with their slightly more light output. The TechMax definitely had a better cut-off line and light wash on the road through my car's lamp housings. My car's housings literally needed no adjustment with the TechMax. I just installed them and I was good to go. The Hikaris, on the other hand, are close but do need to be raised a bit because the cut-off hits less than 10' from the front of my car (I want to adjust them to around 20-25' in front), however, the Hikaris are ok just the way they are, just not optimal. Neither bulb blinded oncoming cars, but the Hikaris are just a bit brighter, which is exactly what my old eyes need. This is the ONLY reason I kept them and paid $50 more. Hope This Helps

Best LED conversion for 2018 Chev Colorado Projector Low beam Newest LUMILED chips
I just received these Hikari H11 LED bulbs for my 2018 Chev Colorado Z71 with Projector lights on the low beam. The Hikari uses the latest Phillips LUMILED chipsets. There are 6 chips per bulb, 3 on each side. I was told by other vendors not to use LED bulbs in projector housings but I could see no difference in beam pattern between the factory halogens and these new lights. I would say that my low beams now look like HID lights. Really nice white color and exceptionally bright. The beam pattern as you can see from the picture is very even with no bright or dark areas.I wanted to road test these to see if any oncoming cars would flash there lights at me but I had no issues with these lights and the road lit up with a nice bright white light.I am very impressed with these Hikari LED lights. The install took less than 20 minutes for both sides and the passenger side on the Colorado requires removal of a plastic shield before you can get access to the lights. The colorado also has dust covers and I had no problem installing the module, which is very compact into the dust cover. The Colorado also has DRL (Daytime Running Lights in Canada ) and these are working great with no issues with flicker or canbus errors. I just took the truck out for a good 30 min ride and checked the temperature of the housings and they seem to be running quite cool and the fan is nearly silent. Hopefully they will last longer than some of the more expensive halogens. Will probably upgrade the high beams and see how they perform.I will update this review as time goes on but I highly recommend these lights.

Avoid
Considering the price, these are not that bright and have an uninspiring beam pattern with lots of glare above where the cutoff is supposed to be. They claim to have an excellent beam pattern and genuine Lumileds chips but don't perform as well in brightness and halogen filiment emulation as other H4 bulbs that cost half the price.

Best LED's on the market
I bought three sets of these for my cars two 9600 lumens and one 12000 lumen set thats how good they are. First they are a direct fit and didnt not give my any codes. They are great quality and super bright you wont be disapointed I installed the 9600 for DRL on my Acura TL which is also the high beam i have no flickering and they are bright and i have never been flashed so far they are 100× better than my OEM halogens and i didnt even need to adjust them. I installed the other set of 9600 on my pontiac wave as the DRL, high beam, and low beam they work perfectly once aimed properly to avoid scattering light and blinding other drivers the lights went from not being able to tell if they are on with halogens, too me knowing they are on. I installedthe 12000 lumen bulbs in my fog lights for my TL and they are amazing the picture dont show how bright it really is. I went from using RCP to these and these are 100× better.

Super bright, excellent product!
I have a Honda st1100. So the picture I have included is the base of the light. Just to show that the bulb comes out of the base. It makes your life 💯% easier for replacing the bulb. I did also put the shim from railside performance ( a seller on Amazon) then you can slip the led into the base and adjust it so that you have the best pattern. I found the recommended 9-3 o'clock position to work best. The lights are so bright that it will light up street signs even when the sun hasn't gone down fully. At night I can see 3 times as far.(about the length of 5 houses). It gives you a nice bright centre on the road and a little dimmer on the sides, but still alot brighter then a Sylvania silver star ultra!I'm a known as elcheapo and I don't like to spend alot of money on things, but in this case the 118$ price tag was well worth it. I know there are cheaper LEDs out there, but I know that I've tried 2 in the below 50$ price range and also hids in that price range and nothing compares to these. The drivers don't get hot and the heat sink does not get too hot although I did opt on not putting the rubber cap back on to the back of my head lights, just in case.So to make a long story short. If you struggle to see at night and you just want something that works, buy these. You won't be unsatisfied!!!

Not bright at all - 2018 Dodge Ram projector
Bought these due to all the rave reviews. With a Ram, you have to remove shroud, remove the front grille, remove the entire light assembly, open light assembly, to get to the bulb. Not an easy process. The instructions DO NOT say anything about the extreme cat eye look these have when on. I was lucky I set the bulbs so the flat edge was the same on both sides, or I would have had to remove the light assembly again to turn one to match. As it is, one slightly turned on re-assembly so looks different than the other side. All this seller talks about is how focused these are, which is more a factor it's a projector. So if you look at the vehicle when lights on, there is a central vertical line of darkness like a cats eye. This could be sideways if you rotated the bulb, or 45 degrees.. ridiculous if it didn't match side to side. After the long process to swap these out, I took it for a drive. I would actually say these are no brighter than stock, if not actually dimmer. The difference is the light color temperature, but that is it. I was so disappointed my first thought was to send them back.. but then I'd have to tear the front of the truck apart again and waste another hour of my time. So I left them in. Every time I drive at night I curse the fact I ever spent money swapping stock out for these. SAVE YOUR MONEY IF YOU HAVE PROJECTORS.
