(Not an answer but possibly trying to get the experience/result form the questioner, thank you). I have Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2 TB connected to LG Gram 17" 17Z90N. Did the person who asked the question go ahead with the purchase and was it successful? Does anyone else have any idea if this will work? Thank you.

Got a doa ssd. any possibility at all it failed because i used this? fwiw the copper touched a metal strip on the inside of laptop's base cover.

Not sure. If the adhesive was between the SSD and copper and only one end touch.....Did the end that touch bridge and non coated circuitry?
