I, for once, am a huge fan of this random-buy Amazon purchase for men's grooming. Established itself into my core daily routine. I have champagne taste with my (men's) hair: late 20s white male, get it cut twice a month at higher-end ladies hair salon ($47 a pop with the wine served). I'm also very particular about my products: previously devoted to Redken All Soft Shampoo, Conditioner (and American Crew Light Hold Texture Lotion for styling). Quite honestly with how frequently I shampoo/condition my hair: I was looking for something less annoying to use in the shower than a two step product. Hair stylist advised trying a salon grade brand two-in-one shampoo/conditioner. Tried this on a whim to simplify my routine. Absolutely love. Unsure how the formula does it- but this product consistently leaves my hair "perfect" after every single wash. Soft, clean, well conditioned without any residue (unlike conditioner). Takes my styling product gorgeously. Nice finished result. Would recommend for all champagne-taste hair guys who refuse to demote themself to mass produced retail products (Pantene, Garnier etc).

I took the plunge and bought this slightly more expensive shampoo/conditioner, picked this one specifically because someone mentioned that it rinses out better, 100% true... I keep my hair between 3-7 inches long, sometimes shampoos will make my hair frizzy, this MITCH is amazing, my looks slightly damp when dry (but not wet just no frizz), I can use this daily, it makes my hair look wonderful and it's fast to use and wash out, highly recommend

My barber (who is one of the most well-known in Chicago) told me my hair was drying out, so I shouldn't wash it everyday or I would damage it. I tried not washing it everyday, and it wasn't bad. The problem is, when I use product, go to the gym or do other forms of exercise, my hair begins to look greasy if I just rinse thoroughly with water after. He had mentioned it was the sulfates in shampoos that caused drying, so I went another route and decided to try this sulfate-free shampoo. You better believe I thought a long while before I was going to pay 17 bucks for a shampoo. I mean, that's usually how much I pay for shampoo and conditioner in 3-4 years (I was using the big Pantene Pro-V bottles). This stuff is worth every penny. Using it everyday with conditioner, I noticed my hair was never dry after use and at the end of the day it would be oily again. I was happy with this, since it meant my hair wasn't dry throughout the day and I made it to the end of the day looking clean. Much like everyone says, use a small amount. I use a pea size dab and lather it in my hands before applying it. If it isn't enough on a particular day, I just add a little bit more. The way it smells is also great. It has a subtle masculine smell that isn't overpowering at all. I almost want to give this 4 stars just because of the price, but because it only requires a small amount, you get a lot of bang for your buck. If you're a guy who's looking for a great shampoo, I highly recommend this. For a woman, if scent matters to you, you may not like it.

Bought as a splurge after reading about another user purchasing to use between dandruff shampoing. I have long thick wavy hair and trapped oil and humidity leaves me prone to seborrheic dermatitis. Selsun blue beats this back sporadically and the double hitter seems to take up the slack between. I seem to need to wash my hair about every 4 days. At this rate this bottle will last a very long time, Seem to need a lot less product than expected per wash which is a nice bonus.
