WORKED GREAT!
Wish I had pics/videos, but this thing worked well. My contractor didn't do a great job getting the thinset off. He said he did the best he could - and he had a full size, jackhammer tool. I think he just ran out of time, knew I was putting rug up top, and gave up as the initial part of room had more thinset off. Anyway - that's the backstory. So, I borroed a handheld hammer drill from a friend and bought this tool and also what I thought was a better one - with a more sharpened edge and angled. I didn't even use this one at first as the end was thicker and dull...figured this was going back to amazon. Well, I decided to give this a shot after not great success with other. This thing worked like a champ. Once I found the correct angle(pointing almost down) this thing went through the thinset fairly easily Mind you, its not easy work...and dusty, but for a relative small area, this thing worked beyond expectations. And for under $15, a bargain.

Removed old ceramic tile
Worked well to remove old tile and the mortar below the tile. Sharpened it a time or two on a bench grinder just to keep the edge sharp.

Ate up the thinset!
Used this on a Makita heavy duty hammer drill to remove thinset from a concrete slab. It cut like crazy. Had to sharpen it a couple times with my angle grinder, but to be expected doing what I did. For what I paid, if I had to toss it after I was done, it wouldn't have mattered, but this thing has years of life left.

Digger
I am not removing tile but digging a small trench in compacted soil. It works very well for this. No signs of wear since it's dirt.
