Tea Forte Single Steeps Tea Sampler, Lotus, 15 Pouches

I decided recently to try and get into tea and have really been trying to figure out what I like. I would highly recommend this to any beginner or mid-serious tea enthusiast to try many different types and flavors of tea. The tea has been really delicious and great to have. If you're really serious about tea, however, you'll probably want to go to your favorite shop to purchase leaves. The packets in this sampler are good for only one infusion and come in single serve. This is definitely an asset if like me you have multiple people trying to test out different teas in your household, but if you're more serious about tea you may as well go for more reusable leaves. Tea Forte clearly makes a good product, and I'm really happy with this purchase. A tea for every mood! I've actually loved all the flavors in this sampler, despite generally being quite picky, and that this offers a wide range from herbal to oolong!

I bought these for my sister for Christmas and she loves how pretty they come packaged. All of the teas are high quality and she enjoys the different strengths and types of tea that come in this set. I felt like it was a good price for what I included and the presentation makes it a perfect gift.

High quality and very tasty

Lotus collection: not my favorite. The jasmine and orange tea has very little orange flavor and overwhelming jasmine, which is unfortunate. Jasmine is a lovely flavor typically but like most florals it can become too strong easily. Lavender and lemon on the other hand, had almost no lavender taste or smell. It was essentially a lemon chamomile tea. Good on its own, but not what I hoped for. The darjeeling quince is alright, but I am a poor judge. It is not a flavor I enjoy when it is strong, but it mingled well with the citrus (if you are unaware, quince is essentially a bubblegum flavor, or sort of a sweet licorice). I prefer it in a green tea rather than black, so take that as you will. Vanilla pear is the real savior here for me, despite a weak ginger presence. It was otherwise very well balanced and delightful! Second to that I would say the Oolong and marigold was quite a pleasant and subtle mixture, where you could really enjoy the flavor of the tea. The marigold was definitely not overhwelming, and the peach comes through just right. Every tea has an amazing aroma, but I was let down by the taste of many in this sampler. I much prefer the Noir and Herbal mixes from Tea Forte, all of which are much much more appealing as far as the strength of floral hints vs other ingredients, and for the Noir collection I was especially happy not to lose the black tea flavor beneath it all (chocolate rose and caramel nougat were my definite favorites). The herbal teas are perfect dessert teas, which need no sugar to give them a very sweet flavor if that is what you are looking for. While I normally drink tea without additives, I strongly recommend against any added sugar to herbals on first few tries. Cherry cosmo and blueberry merlot are A++, in particular! In the end though, these single steep samplers are perfect as gifts, and a greay way to try a variety from various tea forte collections all at once. If you are unsure what you might like, I absolutely recommened trying a sampler set first.

Lovely individual single serve packaging so is always fresh. Nice variety of samples. Delicious taste.

I will be purchasing these again. They were beautiful to separate from the box and give as gifts with a Tea steeper.!!!! they were a big hit with everyone in my family at Christmas!! perfect for any tea lover
