Does what it is intended to do
At first it will shut your system down (no audio) it is probably due to capacitor not yet charged up properly. So far no issues, I got two amps with this thing and it performs better than other capacitor. Does not have that cool factor look but it works well.

Upgrade from 3farad cap
Seems to keep up with my bass demands. Easy to install had trouble charging it though. The display kept turning off during charge at about 8 v. I kept it charging an additional 15 minutes just in case. No issues in function as far as I know but I just do this in my spare time I'm no expert

Appears to work great
This definitely allowed me to get the max potential out of my car audio system.Feels like it is 2X more powerful with my single 12" sub than before and I no longer have headlight flickering/extreme drain issues on the car electrical system. I can clearly see the limit of my amplifier power output now.

Expensive Volt Meter
I bought this thinking it would be way overkill. General rule of thumb is one farad per 1k watts. I'm running an Audiopipe APCL-1500 (great amp even though this capacitor is crap.) at just over half gain on an Alpine Type R 12 at 2 ohms, which should mean I'm running around 750 watts RMS. Lights still dim heavily with just moderate playing. It made the most miniscule difference, but definitely didn't fix the issue. And considering I'm running less than 1/6 of the power the capacitor is rated for, it makes me very unhappy. Save your money and just buy a cheap voltage display gauge. That's about all you get with this capacitor.

Good cap.
This added the extra punch I was looking for. It did help with light dimming a little. I'm running 2 amps 1sub amp 1500 watt class D and 1- 4 channel 100 watts per channel amp class A/B. I do still run standard alt. and 1000 cca battery in my vehicle so light dimming will not go totally away unless I change to separate battery and larger alt. but it does help quite a bit.
