[Upgraded] Bluetooth Number Pad, Designed for Mac OS and Windows Users, Dual System Aluminum Rechargeable Wireless Numeric Keypad External Numeric Keyboard for MacBook, MacBook Pro/Air, Windows Laptop

I am working from home at times and need to use formulas in Excel. I order this keypad and it was easy to connect with Bluetooth. There is only one key that does not work - "=" key prints "061", which means I need to go back and forth between laptop and numeric keypad for each and every formula, which is time-consuming. This is why I cannot give 5 stars. But otherwise, it is still much better than before having a numeric keypad.

I wanted a full-featured dedicated number pad for my Microsoft Surface Pro. After reviewing dozens of different units I decided to try this one for several reasons; built-in rechargeable battery with auto-shut-off, not plastic, non-skid rubber bumpers, large enough to prevent depressing two key at same time and multiple non-numeric dedicated keys that allow control of specific functions such as delete, PgUp, PgDn, directional control keys, , etc.. I ordered the unit and it arrived sooner than expected. There is a "Welcome Card" along with a User Manual packaged with your new unit that encourages you to email Sofia (Customer Experience Manager) directly with any problem or issue, and you will get a response within 12 hours. Pairing the unit to my Surface Pro was done with no issues. Instructions for doing so are very clearly written for anyone not familiar with that process. After using the unit for a few minutes, I noticed the unit was not entering the numbers on Laptop nearly as fast as I was entering them and the decimal point was "misplaced" and sometimes not being entered at all. Needless to say, that was a major issue. Rather than giving a bad review, I emailed Sofia (Customer Experience Manager) and explained my issue. As promised, in less than 12 hours, she responded by email and offered a new unit or a full refund. I opted for a new unit and it arrived almost overnight. The new unit is flawless and works wonderful. Customer service was beyond my expectation and the unit itself has lived up to my every expectation. It is a well-made unit and will likely last much longer than some other units I reviewed. If you are looking for an excellent dedicated number pad, I highly recommend this unit. In the unlikely event you need customer service, dealing with Acedada, and Sofia was nothing short of extraordinary.

Used this for a little while, and I still have it. I am not using it at the moment because I have a full keyboard (with a numpad). When I used it, some buttons didn't work on Windows. They may work on Mac, I don't know.Other than that, it's pretty good. It works well, connects nicely, and there were no problems.

It needs some sort of identification on branding on the body so you can look it up online - I had to go thru my shopping history to find that info so I could look up instructions online. The printed and online instructions were confusing and didn't work. I did a web search and found a couple of unrelated trouble-shooting help pages that walked me thru setting it up. After a couple of days, it lost the set up and I had to do it all over again.

Update: The customer service from the Acedada reached out and provided me with the instructions on how to change the system to Mac. When they realized I received a defective item, they immediately sent a replacement. I appreciate the quick response and solution the company provided. The EXCELLENT customer service is hard to find these days. Thank you very much. I can now work better with the 10-key I received. I will recommend the product and the service they provide at any time.I've researched and made sure that I will be purchasing a number pad to work along side my macbook pro. I wanted a number pad that has other functions like backspace, delete, clear, esc and others. I read on the description/specs that this particular number pad has dual system (windows and mac) so I was excited to get this. I just received it today and have spent a couple of hours trying to set up the function keys through the system settings but just can't make it to work. There was no step by step process on the manual but I tried. I've looked it up online, youtube, amazon review and no one has it.

What a life saver for those of us working from home with small laptop! With end of fiscal year near and protests on top of COVID-19, I have been working from home more than I want to with my little laptop with a screen the size of a 8x11 paper. What is worse than the tiny screen is the lack of number pads especially since almost all my work revolves around punching numbers. The keypad was really easy to set up and connect, and not sure if it is just me, but it has that clicky feel when you punch in the numbers. Overall I think it works very nicely and portable for when you are on the go. It fits in my laptop bag perfectly. I personally would still prefer a desktop if we end up working from home more but it is definitely a good addition when you are on a business trip or in an emergency situation like now when I am forced to work from home on a laptop most days (our desktop is too old and too slow).

originally the device came in and come to find out my 1 month old computer does not have bluetooth. So I call what I believe is Amazon's customer support to see if maybe one of wireless keyboards adapters would work this new device. Unfortunately, that was not possible, but he very kindly recommend me another device that had its own USB adapter.This was the number pad I wanted since also has the arrow keys on it. So for another $10 I bought a tiny bluetooth adapter the 4.0 version and the number pad works beautifully.I'm hoping they see this in case they run into the same issue again because the device is worth it.Thank you
