Get it
This is the second one I purchased. I use one in my home and it has made all the difference now that my daughter went away to college and she got her own apartment. She bought one for herself and all her housemates love it.

Best I've found, but could be better
Here's my weirdly in depth review:Cons-Not ideal for a very small or cramped bathroom. It projects too far forward.-Doesn't keep you're circulation from cutting off as the OG squatty potty does. Might be less of an issue if you don't have an older or smaller toilet. The shape of the stool doesn't have the foot placement far enough apart.-The black traction mat can make it look dirty. Still looks much nicer than the plastic ones.-Wish there were more color options. A cherrywood finish or dark walnut colored finish would be nice. Minor complaint tho. Back when I bought it it only came in the standard light bamboo.Pros-Definitely helps with doing your business. Just not as much as it could since foot placement is tighter to the front.-VERY VERY sturdy! Which is more than I can say for the OG and others on the market.-Made of solid wood. Despite the traction mat collecting more dust than other surfaces, the wood makes it look much nicer than others on the market.-Comes pre-assembled and well constructed!! Unless things have changed since I got this one back in 2021. Most other wooden stools require assembly and have a similar price. Or they're made of trashy plywood.-Worth it for the price.Overall I recommend this one if you're looking for a stool that will last and doesn't look like it's made for a child or assisted living. My main issue is the shape of the stool, which might not be a problem for most people. The foot placement still isn't far enough apart. It's still an improvement if you have nothing else to compare it to for healthy circulation and digestive health. It's just not as much of an improvement as the Squatty Potty I had before. It's shaped like that for a reason. But the quality of material was garbage compared to the new one and still makes a positive difference when using the bathroom, which is the whole point.

Squatty Potty
Solid construction, easy to assembleMakes it easier to "do your business " as you are in a more "natural" position.....No height adjustment but once you find your "spot" you'll feel the difference

Big Boy, Big Improvement
Bought the XL size because we liked the idea of using it as a stepstool and not having to think about the weight limit (says 300 lbs on the box, and I’ve tried jumping on it without a single creak or crack, so I’m going with it’s good if it can withstand 200 lbs of sudden force).Assembly was quick and easy - didn’t need any extra tools. As others have mentioned, the rubber makes any bits of toilet paper fluff stick to it and you can’t just wipe at it, but you can use a wet rag or a Clorox wipe on it just fine during normal bathroom cleaning and it cleans right up. I love the rubber because it helps being a step stoool for kids even if they’ve just come out of the shower and I don’t want them slipping and sliding off.Looks fancier than the OG squatty potty (not just plastic, looks like it belongs). We can’t close it up to store it away since we got the XL size, but it tucks neatly around the toilet without much trouble and kids can pick it up to move it to the sink as needed (getting them to put it back in a whole other story, but that’s not on the product ;)Husband says he loves it and can’t imagine why we didn’t get one sooner - really helps with the business end of your number two business.
