The collar stripped instantly, then the multispline snapped absolutely rubbish. Will be requesting a refund. Professional mechanic not a tool snob but honestly the worst tool I've purchased in 20+ years.. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

Don't buy
Looks like a good tool when it's brand new in the box bug quality it's not there the min u put the tool to work the material start to damage and bend so if u do 1 alternator a year it's fine but if u do a lot don't buy it or buy 10 of them cause 1 ain't enough

Very poor dimensional accuracy on splined parts loose fit and rounded at first use
The splined parts are very loose fit in the standard alternator pulley. In addition the teeth are very poorly formed and three rounded-off a first use. I never managed to get the pulley off with this kit so resorted to a local tool store and bought the professional part for £18.00. This could withstand the required torque and the pulley was easily removed. In addition the material is very soft. It was easy to dress with a file. I am a chartered engineer with a lot of mechanical experience.

Low quality, one part rounded, the other snapped
Item arrived quickly and was packaged well, comes in a nice box but that's where the positive feedback ends.The tools are made of low quality materials and weren't up to the task of removing an alternator pulley, the tools failed long before the pulley was removed. One snapped and another rounded, despite using the tools correctly as an experienced mechanic.I removed my alternator pulley with a higher quality tool with no problem.Don't manufacture and sell tools that aren't strong enough for their intended use.
