Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Having been using a CT8500 for quite some time now, attached to the front of my sea kayak, and been very pleased with it, I wondered just how much better the CT9000 would be. It has taken the excellent level of refinement to the next level :-) . The first thing you notice about the camera when you open the box, is that it has a really good solid feel about it, a great build quality, which is what you want in an action camera. The next positive I noticed within the first couple of seconds is how easy it is to open and close the battery hatch, another great improvement, and great to see Crosstour have a focus on continuous improvements. I absolutely loved the new menu arrangements. Now you can focus on the video/photo mode using the mode button, and only need to enter the playback and settings menus, by a long press of the OK button. This is a great usability improvement, especially when operating in the camera from my kayak in winter with neoprene gloves on. It makes is so much easier, few button presses. When taking photos from a kayak which is being tossed around in the waves, you have to rely on post processing to level out the horizon and crop, and with the whopping 20M pixels there is lots of resolution allow me to do this. This is a huge benefit. Another improvement is the folder structure on the SD card, which now uses the industry standard DCIM folder rather than the "Photos" and "Videos" folders. So much more convenient having both videos and photos under DCIM. Crosstour, you have done a great job with the CT9000. Taking design and manufacturing quality to the next level. Thank you :-)

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I bought this as I wanted another camera with reasonably high resolution to film my band's gigs with several cameras. This camera comes with a plethora of accessories enabling you too fix it onto pretty much anything you can think of. I fixed it to my bike helmet so I could knock out a quick review and the clip is attached.It's easy to use and the user interface seems to have been updated from the previous Crosstour cam I've owned. It's a bit snappier and seems quite professional.The video speaks for itself - it's nice and clear with decent colours and seems to have a pretty good dynamic range also. You can't really go wrong for this price!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I ordered mine on Friday, it arrived on Saturday, I've opened the box, and tested it on Sunday. Out of the box, you get the camera mounted in it's waterproof case. There's numerous mounts and accessories plus two batteries. A USB cable (with which you can charge a battery fitted on board, or download stiils/video files from the card in the camera). Theres an instruction manual, with clear diagrams, intructions and the app QR codes to use on your mobile, iOS or Android. When mine arrived, the batteries were charged and it worked straight out of the box. You do need a micro SD card, 64gb max. Plus you get a gift card, from which you can order a self stick, battery charger and batteries (for free). All this for under £80. True, it doesn't have all the capabilities of a GoPro, but it's pretty close. The menu options cover just about all that's needed from an action camera. If you're Youtubing and recording your own action events, this perfect. For broadcast and pro event work where the highest quality is demanded, this may struggle. What you can do, is record most of your events, download to your mobile and post from there, with clarity and ease. I've got 3 of these now and highly recommend it. This is a fantastic little camera. I have bought it to take on holiday abroad and am looking forward to using it to film underwater in the sea. As other reviews have said, there are so many attachments for this camera. It's really hard to believe how much you get for your money. I love the time-lapse function on this camera and am pleased it is supplied with two batteries. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone who has always wanted an action cam by a well-known brand but who have been put off by the price.Update: after having a few struggles with the phone app DV King 4K I searched online and found out that all data, WiFi and Bluetooth needs to be turned off to be able to connect solely to the camera. Worked perfectly after this.

Due to so many anti cyclists on the road, I've decided to get a camera (what a sad world we live in). First impressions, quick delivery, great packages, so many accessories and also a free gift voucher. Image quality looks perfect to me and I will be using it off road when I'm mountain biking as well. Just the peace of mind this little gadget is going to give me out on the road, is worth every penny. I also hope it will act as a deterrent for road rage. I will be mounting it on my handlebar because i think it is a little too heavy for the helmet. I'll submit a further review when I have used it.
