Do you also have an IKEA kitchen? Are you also disappointed that you can't get 85 degree soft close hinges? No worries- just buy the 110 degree soft close blum hinges from IKEA and use this little plastic doodad to prevent your doors from swinging beyond 85 degrees. Works like a charm. One caveat, make sure you install it correctly- you must take out the door, swing the hinge to the "closed" position and THEN pop it in.

These are super nice to have and I would highly recommend them. Just make sure they will fit with your hinges. I originally ordered some that fit a different set of hinges. They prevent cabinets from hitting the wall. Setup was not too bad. Once you figure out where they go installation is a breeze. The first one took me maybe 5 minutes and every hinge after that took 1 minute. They *can* extend past the limit but only if you are really slamming the door open. As long as you are opening it normally, it will stop the door from hitting the wall.

After some research on how to get my new IKEA section kitchen cabinets from opening so wide because a few of them were bumping walls or appliances, I came across this solution. I thought the smaller opening hinges through Ikea would work, but everyone complained that they were not soft close.This was the solution! Fortunately, in another site someone had posted some pictures of how to put these into the IKEA hinge or else I would’ve spent hours trying and crying.What’s even more impressive thing was that I only needed one of these stoppers on one hinge (not all 3 hinges) even on my 40 inch tall cabinets. If only I could have knows about these 8 months ago when the cabinets were new.Thank you for making these!

These are easy to install and save your cabinet doors from swinging open too far. No more doors smacking into walls or other cabinets. Just make sure you have the right clip for your particular hinge. We have two types of hinges, so we needed two, different restrictor clips.

These clips were easy to fit and worked perfectly. You don't need any tools to fit them. They are only suitable for the Blum 110 degree hinges (NOT the 107 degree ones). Blum have a good website which shows how to identify whether you have the 110 degree or 107 hinges, and a video showing how to fit them, but I can't link to it from this review apparently (sigh).First remove the door by unclipping the hinges (there's a button concealed beneath the arm of the hinge which releases them). Then place the door on a flat surface and put both hinges in the closed position (i.e. perpendicular to the door). Then insert the plastic clip as pictured, and refit the door.Very simple to fit and they work really well. I've fitted them on four doors in our kitchen and they've completed fixed the problem of the doors hitting the adjacent walls. I didn't have any breakages and the clips seem quite robust.

Après un constat lors du montage de notre nouvelle cuisine des portes s’ouvre trop largement et tape dans le frigo ou les murs.Avec se système c’est terminé les portes s’ouvre à un angle de 90degré maximum.Ce système devrait être fourni avec les cuisines.Le lots de 10 pieces pour 20€ est trop chère clairement mais la livraison ultra rapide.

Hard to find that this existed, but exactly the solution for the problem. Really happy with such a small piece of plastic.
