Dried Pigeon Peas, Gandules Seco 56 Oz, Yummmy, Kosher Certified

I didn't find any stones or debris. This was the 2nd time I've purchased these. I canned them in coconut milk for year round use.

I am very pleased with an item that is not found in general food markets, I was most happy finding it on Amazon.

BUYER BEWARE, THIS IS NOT PIGEON PEAS. I tried to return it but they will not refund me. I purchased the peas from another seller and was very satisfied. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT.

We do home canning and preservation. Pigeon peas are a new addition to our culinary kitchen, and now we see what others have known for years, this is a delicious and healthy item.

I liked the flavor and quality of the peas. Good price too. Goes very well with pekin duck.

I don’t think they are good to eat as they seam infested with weevil, and interesting that the return is not an option 🙃

No instructions for,preparation were included, so I researched dried pigeon peas and found a recommendation to soak them for six hours.They were still chewy, so I suggest at least over night or up59 twenty four hours.

I boiled them for more than 4 hrs and they were still uncooked very bad product we couldn’t eat them ended up in the garbage. I will not advise anybody to buy this product hopefully I will get my money back
